Noel CD/DVD

on October 11, 2007 - 9:40am

Josh's Noel CD/DVD is absolutely gorgeous!! I definitely love Little Drummer Boy with the guitar as instrument of choice for this one and Oh, Come All Ye Faithful - only Josh can sing it the way that the voice of a beautiful angel could do. The DVD is also wonderful to watch and hilarious at some parts as our Joshie is. I had no problem getting it at my Target - I called the same morning that is was released and had them hold a copy for me and even when I went to the store there were plenty available in the CD and CD/DVD versions - probably because I live in Milwaukee and it is probably that way in other larger cities. Hopefully, all you Grobies in smaller cities will be able to somehow get at least his CD - it is absolutely beautiful, wonderful, fantastic and the most beautifully arranged and not the same material that we listen to on most albums. Josh and David Foster really out did themselves on this album by mixing in different vocals, instruments, sounds not found on the traditional Christmas albums that most of us have. Keep up the fantastic work Josh and am looking forward to the new AWAKE CD/DVD coming out early 2008!!

Missing Josh and Noel

on October 5, 2007 - 5:49pm

Is it me or is it because Josh is "down under" that I'm having a "MJD" (missing Josh depression) moment right now?! I know he'll be home soon, but I really miss him when he's overseas - now I know what some of you mean when you're missing him because he's not here with us. Also, him singing Silent Night today on FOJG just made my feelings of missing him intensify. So am looking forward to Tuesday and getting the CD/DVD at Target - maybe that will help me get through this achy breaky heart of mine. We all miss you very much Josh and we all love you -stay safe and healthy and rest up and enjoy Australia and come home soon!!!

Post Concert Tour musings

on September 4, 2007 - 1:35pm

Well, I can't believe that it's been one month since I was "Joshed" again in Milwaukee! Every time I hear Josh sing "Don't Give Up, You Are Loved" it takes me back to my center stage front row seats with my daughter that night and the anticipation and excitement of seeing Josh so up close and personal - when that beautiful orange curtain opened up I couldn't believe it (I was screaming at the top of my lungs of course) and I couldn't take my eyes off of him the whole night! His voice was so beautiful and moving (dare I say the "voice of an angel"?!) Josh so fulfilled my dreams that night by giving me a hug - I was even mentioned in the Journal Sentinel newspaper as "being an adoring fan who give him a teddy bear" - and signing my program and standing right next to him when he sat down on the stage and sang NWIA. Our Josh did such an amazing tour this time around that it's no wonder we all want a 3rd leg of tour here - he needs to rest himself and his voice first - so maybe late next spring or early summer?! It will definitely be front row seats again because once he's been so close to you, nothing else will do!!! All of us Grobanites are so grateful that Josh gave a 100% and more of himself (when does he not?!) during his performances and I look forward to his AWAKE DVD and Christmas album when they come out. Josh - always stay close to your family and true to yourself and keep stretching those limits because we are with you 100% in all you do - we love you and your music so very much!!!!!!!!!

AWESOME MILWAUKEE CONCERT!!

on August 8, 2007 - 8:21am

Josh's concert in Milwaukee was so awesome and wonderful and fantastic last night - I'm still on cloud 9 rewinding my memories of it. I had center front row seats with my daughter and we had the best of times celebrating Josh's concert together. I was the first one to go up to the stage and give him a cute Wisconsin teddy bear with Pixie Stix in in and I asked for a hug and he gave me one!! It was so wonderful to acutually have one of my dreams come true. We also got his autograph on our program and when he came to sit down on stage to sing "Not While I'm Around" from Sweeney Todd I was right there next to him watching him sing the whole time and believe he even smiled and sang to me for a few brief seconds. After that we all just stood for the rest of the show and he did "AWAKE" for his encore. He came out to the busses afterwards and signed autographs and shook hands and we got more pics - my daughter took lots of pics and got a fantastic one of me hugging Josh. Thank you, Josh, for such an amazing concert and being able to be up close to see you and hear that beautiful voice of yours! Met Theresa (ObiWanCannoli) there with her son Duncan which was so cool, also! This will definitely be a night to remember and now will always have to have front row seats because nothing else compares! I hope all the other Grobies that were there had a fantastic time also!

Milwaukee Concert

on July 17, 2007 - 5:31pm

I can't believe that in exactly 3 weeks from tonight Josh will be here in Milwaukee! I can't wait to read journal entries about those who are going to his concert tonight - have a fantastic time all of you Grobies! I have front row seat tickets for daughter and I when he arrives - hope to get an autograph or handshake or even win BSP's with my joke contest. Just to see him up close and hear that beautiful voice is what I'm really looking forward to - this will be my 4th Josh concert and these are the best seats yet!
