And now for the rest of the story....

on November 22, 2006 - 6:08am

Why I am telling this story, I'm not sure, but feel I need to finish it.

I AM THE LUCKIEST PERSON ALIVE!

For not only hurting someone or myself, but for not being hauled off to jail! The policman pulled me over and asked for my license and registration of which I could not find. While I was fumbling around he asked me where I lived and I told him that it just at the end of the street. He then said "Nevermind and be careful" and LET ME GO! As he walked away, I stuck my head out of the window (like a complete idiot) and asked him how the guy was the flipped his car! IDIOT!

When and if I drink, I do it at home and I have thanked God everyday since this incident for protecting others, me and for giving me this wake-up call. Never will I EVER drink and drive again! This incident will be something that will eat at me for a very long time to come.

On a good note: I watched Josh's performance this morning from Nay's site and it was fantastic. When I heard he was going to perform "February Song" I was a little concerned about the high notes (I get nervous for him...is that silly?). He sounded great and looked fantastic. Some amazing Grobies posted arrival pics and I just about fell over at each and every one. How is it possible that one man can be so damn talented, nice and HOTTT????

Gotta work now!

No particular title.....

on November 21, 2006 - 4:58pm

What a weekend. A friend of mine turned 30 and I rented a limo for her for a night on the town. We had about 6 girls and we went to several "happenin" spots in Jax. After the 3rd stop, I was D-O-N-E so I had the driver take me back to my friends apartment to pick up my car.

I need to preface this by saying that my husband said more than once that, under no circumstances, should I drive home. "Take a taxi or let the limo driver bring you home".

Stupid me. I really had no idea what my name was at this point in the night and proceeded to get in my car and drive the 7 minutes to my house.

I apparently passed an accident in which a "drunk man flipped his car" (according to the officer that pulled me over).

More later.....time to put the boy to bed.

Is this day over yet????

on November 17, 2006 - 12:30pm

Another day, another dollar! I am sooooo glad it is Friday, but I really want this day to be over with! I can't concentrate on work at all and I think it is because I have Josh on the brain today in a BIG WAY! I can't wait for March when I get to see him in Raleigh and Atlanta!

Ok...so if I wish for it hard enough, will I get to meet him? I love to hear all of the wonderful stories of fellow Grobies meeting/hugging/talking to Josh, but I can't help but be a tiny bit envious. He's just a person - an extremely wonderful and talented person - and I need to start putting this all in perspective. I tried so hard to get to NY for GMA but couldn't get tickets and I think that would have been one of the best opportunities to meet him. I'm not going to give up hope!

I finally received my personalized "Got Josh" license plate and it is framed nicely by my "Josh Groban Fan" frame. My smiley magnet smiles at everyone behind me in traffic. I hope at least one person gets curious about who he is and starts listening to him.

I'm rambling but it is because I don't feel like working. Soooo very bad because I have a TON to do. We opened a new store in Royal Palm Beach, FL yesterday and I had to attend. The crowd outside the door before we opened looked like a bunch of crazy Grobies trying to see Josh...:) One fact that I learned about that area is that it is the polo capital of the US and apparently when "in season" attracts many Europeans. Who knew? I just hope they shop at our store! :)

I also learned that our store in Boca Raton is #1 in the company for theft. Average age....65! The Loss Prevention Manager has a "Wall of Shame" in his office with pictures of hundreds of the thieves. One wanted to be taken w/her walker (usually just a head shot). One they had to call 911 for and her picture is with an oxygen mask on her face! It's funny; but amazing at the same time.

Well, I guess it's time to get back to work. See ya soon. Love ya Josh!

Will I survive???

on November 14, 2006 - 10:38am

My last post was 3/15/05! Wow! It's funny, reading back on the old entries. My last one was right before the Vegas concert. What a show!

I'm feeling a little anxious right now about the pre-sale. I don't know how it works and I won't be in the office tomorrow. I will have to have my friend do it for me! I'm going to try to go to Atlanta and Charlotte since he isn't coming any closer to Florida than that. I'm sure he will eventually but I can't wait!
