You know what I don't get???

on February 11, 2011 - 5:47pm

When I was a kid, I just didn't NOT do a research paper. I at least made an attempt.
I'm seriously concerned for my daughters future. She doesn't GIVE a rats about her grades. C's and D's!!!

She is as smart as a tack. There is no learning disability. She just...doesn't...care!!

I don't think anybody could possibly know how I long for a child that has just an ounce of self love, discipline, respect, esteem. I wouldn't know what to do!!!

....and I don't know what to do. Nothing works. It's a sick feeling to sit back and watch someone throw their life away because they are apathetic.

Winter

on February 10, 2011 - 7:55pm

....and so ready for Spring!

I haven't been on FOJG much lately, but don't get me wrong....still lovin' Josh!

Haven't listened to Illuminations much....but again, I completely love Josh and respect him as an artist. I'm glad he feels like he can branch out and try new things! He's an artistic genius!

I'm convinced 2011 will be a good year!! It's already showing potential!

Well, I have to cut this short. My kitty is nibbling at my fingers as I type. ;)

I could write an Essay

on November 6, 2010 - 6:55pm

on my experience this weekend holding a yard sale. Some of the most bizarre people I've ever met and interacted with.

The things you think people will grab up sit there and the dumbest little pieces of junk sell. Jennifer, my partner in crime, had a box of junky bathroom toiletries for cryin' out loud!! This man in his 50's bought a tube of toothpaste. Another lady bought a used bottle of lotion.
I sold my husbands "blue knight" motorcycle vest to a couple of lady bargain hunters. I couldn't help but asked if they knew someone in the blue knights and they just said "Nah, we love weird stuff."

Unnecessary Drama.....

on August 1, 2010 - 3:24pm

Don't you hate that?

It's everywhere you turn these days. People taking themselves way to serious.

Maybe I have a great combination of meds going on, but when my dramadar goes off.....I'm outta there!

Trust me - it's liberating.

Of course, there are some things that you can't run from. Like your 14 year old teenager and all the fun that entails.

This week I fell head first into it. My daughter Reagan has a boyfriend that she's dated for awhile. I like to call him "velcro". I'll let you think about that for a second.

He's a very sweet boy, but just...toooo MUCH!

We had drama the week before when he decided to text pictures of his penis to Reagan. Reagan confided in me that he did that. I kept it under wraps deciding what I would do about it. She said it made her extremely uncomfortable.

The next day she was going to see him and I texted her to tell Matt the next time he texts anything remoting resembling his penis to her that I would personally beat the sh*t out of him and gladly go to jail for it.

Wasn't Eclipse great?

on July 12, 2010 - 5:44pm

Now I'm sitting here watching "Remember me" with Robert Pattinson in it.
Riley is at camp....Reagan has a friend over and Robert is somewhere in the backyard.

Our summer has been pretty good. Hotter than the devil outside, but honestly, that's the way I love it.

The beach ended up being great. Man it was hard coming home. First day back to work was a total bummer. I was cranky and irritable. Blech.

We bought this crappy...shh don't tell Robert....popup camper. It's a fixer upper, but it serves it's purpose. At least we don't have payments on the thing. Robert sold his Harley to get something we can have more family time in.
It's been "popped" up in our backyard ever since Robert rolled in back there.
So far, Reagan has had sleep overs and Riley has had sleepovers in it.
I made it one night..and my back locked up for 2 days. The mattress needs work.
We are taking it up to the mountains at the end of this month to break it in.
Robert has donned it the "Big Rolling Turd".

I'm excited to hear from Josh. He says he's proud of this CD....so I trust that it will be great.

Going to finish this movie. Love it so far!
