Reliving the Excitement

on August 6, 2010 - 2:50pm

I am just sitting here reliving the excitement of when Awake was coming out and the feeling of anticipation of what the album would sound like, when the tour would start, what concerts to go to, appearances by Josh, etc - I am soooooo excited and can't wait to go on this next leg of the journey with him and to see some Grobie friends I have not seen in a while and meet some new ones as well!

LOVE IS........

on February 14, 2009 - 11:59am

So, today I am thinking about the loves of my life - my husband and my son. I am so thankful for these two wonderful people who bless me everyday.
Yesterday my husband called me while I was out at lunch running errands. He said that his tie rod to his car snapped and that he had to try and get to a mechanic to have it fixed.
The particular piece hold the wheels on the car safely. He was lucky - he was at a stop sign and getting ready to turn when it happened.
Thank god that he was not driving on the highway or had my son in car which he did for most of the week and there was a dealership 300 yards away from where it happened!

I am thankful for the angel that was looking over us yesterday.

It cost us $300 to have it fixed - a small price to pay to have my family safe don't ya think?

Love to you all this Valentine's Day :)

Here is a pic of my son and hubby!

Snow Snow Go Away !!!!

on January 28, 2009 - 10:18am

I am so sick of the snow - I normally do not have a problem with the winter I would take it over the hot humid summers we have here in New England anyday but this winter seems like it is never going to end. I have a small child who is in pre-school all day and has not really been able to go outside this winter and it has been too cold on the weekends to take him outside. He is driving me crazy - he is almost 5 an only child and a bundle of energy!

I am not sure I can play another game of chutes and ladders people! These are desperate times!

Trips to the mall on the weekend wear thin as well - it seems like everyone else has the same idea to just get out of the house. Plus, how many hacking, coughing, snotty nosed people and kids can you encounter in a mall? Too freakin many! I feel like I have to take a bath in Lysol when I get home.

That darned Groundhog better not see his shadow is all I have to say!

Peace, Love and Josh
(3 of the best things in the world!)

Where are you jlbrown3711?

on December 18, 2008 - 11:10am

I just wanted to see if there was anyone out there that has spoken to Laurie? We are not close friends - but fellow Grobies who have emailed back and forth and I am concerned about her. I have sent a few emails to her to make sure she was ok after her last journal entry and have not gotten a response.

This is not a normal thing for me to do but for some reason I cannot get her out of my mind and wanted to see if someone has been in touch with her and that she was indeed ok.

Laurie - if you are reading this please don't be mad at me - I hope you understand that I was just concerned. :)
YOU ARE LOVED.

VOTE!

on October 29, 2008 - 12:35pm

I am going to start off this journal by simply stating:

GO OUT AND VOTE NEXT WEEK!

No matter what your political views are - exercise your right to vote.

No one has the right to complain about who wins or loses in this election if they do not vote.

I am choosing not to air my political views on my journal -politics and religion are something that should not really be discussed/debated with most people. Hell, I don't even discuss these things with my husband because we have so many different views on both of these two topics! Actually, the only time we fight/disagree is in reference to religion or politics.

Also, please remember depending on where you live, you also have to vote for state representatives, referendums, etc. so please
educate yourself on these items as well as the views of both candidates. You will feel good when you leave that voting booth!
