A bit of chaos

on November 16, 2007 - 2:12pm

It's sunny and beautiful at the moment. There's a saying in Seattle area. "If you don't like the weather wait 10 minutes and it will change." It's been raining like the sky exploded for most of the last two days. I really needed to see the sun today for some reason.

Life has been hectic the last several days. I have been too tired to write anything much or at all. I'm back to caregiving. I had forgotten how busy I get. I usually start about 7:00 am and if I'm lucky come home for maybe a half an hour then head back out till about 9 to 9:30 pm. I've been bushed. The only things consistent in my life right now are FOJG members, Josh and his music. Thank you members and Josh!!!

Well, I have to take off. Have a great weekend!!

My Date w/ Josh and Housework

on November 12, 2007 - 6:27pm

It's been a real windy and wet day. It was also my first day off since I went back to caregiving. That was my cue to have a date with Josh and housework. He makes housework soooooooo much easier to do and even fun! I had an absolute blast!! HUH?? I know I'm losing it. Oh well, if I'm going to lose it it might as well be with Josh.

Have a great night,
Shirley

Crazy Day

on November 8, 2007 - 4:43pm

My day started very early. I was awakened by Dave telling that he left his wallet at home. Not good for a bus driver so I got up, showered and took off at 5:00 this morning. I met him at 6:45 on his route. By the time I arrived home it was too late to go back to sleep. I ended up doing household chores then taking Aunt Bobbie to her appointments. My errands are finished for the day except to pick my daughter up after work.
I'm sedating JR (my dog) tonight cause he kept me up till 3:17 this morning. He doesn't like the raccoons around here. They're the size of small dogs and they make the worst noises.
The weather has been foggy kinda like pea soup till about noon. Now its foggy with the sun peeking out periodically. That's enough to make one sleepy. It's the kind of day that I want to just kick back on the couch, crochet, drink my Shipbibo Tea and of course listen to Josh and his heavenly voice. He'll calm my nerves real quick.
I just received word that hospice care has been ordered for my mother. It's a double edged sword in my eyes. Yes, I feel she needs to leave this earth for a much better life but my heart is hurting. I'm having a hard time letting go and I know it. I had the same problem when my mother-in-law became ill and passed on. I was extremely close to her. Life definitely isn't easy that's for sure. It seems like there's been a challenge around every corner I turn for the last 8 years. For the most part I was handling most of the challenges quite well up until last April. I've had some issues to deal with and dear sweet Josh has been there to help me deal. He is my sanity. I'm looking forward to the time that I will not have the extreme challenges that I have been facing for a while.
Sorry for my sobbing session. Thanks for putting up with me. I promise I won't hold sobbing sessions too often.
On a brighter note I'm feeling real good right now. Between talking to all of you and listening to Josh I'm feeling peaceful and warm inside.

THANKS ALL OF YOU AND YOU TOO JOSH FOR BEING THERE FOR ME. This website is one of the best things that has happened to me in a while.

Pkg. delivered on Awakes 1st B-day

on November 7, 2007 - 1:08pm

Josh's blanket and tea were delivered to the front desk of Avnet Management at 11:41 am today!!!!!!!!! I wish I could say I planned it this way but I didn't. I wish I hadn't screwed up though leaving the letter out of the pkg. I hope that the letter arrived before the pkg. and someone caught it. I'm not counting on it though. I wish I knew when Josh was going to actually see it. I have no clue if Avnet opens the package to check it out first or what? I'm jumping out of my skin I'm so very excited!!!!!!!!!! I will never know when Josh will receive it. I guess it should be enough to know that he will get it. Right?

I'm going to grab my son when he gets home from work and have him download the pictures from his camera to my computer today. I will post them as soon as I can.

I'm having a difficult time thinking straight or sitting still right now. I guess that's my cue to sign off for now and do some housework to calm my nerves. I'll be back later.
