Finally had my wisdom teeth out yesterday, which really wasn't that bad. It was my first ever IV and surgery so I was REALLY scared, but I was asleep the whole time and I've been on lots of medication to make the pain go away. Luckily the day before surgery I finished my Josh Ornament! It's really cool as you can see from the pictures, it's in the shape of a star and can fold up into a book. I sent directions along with a poem on how to fold it into a book to Wyatt. One good thing combining my Josh Ornament and Wisdom teeth was that my mom was so sorry for me for having surgery that she paid for the Ornament's shipping (Overnight shipping was $20!!). Oh well, I'm off to ice my face (because I look like a chipmunk) and watch some movies!

Thursday Surprise

on December 6, 2007 - 8:12pm

Yeah! I am so excited that one of the Thursday Surprises was a commercial that is shown in the Philippines! I was so bummed that they had a clip from Australia, but not the Philippines... but the commercial makes up for it! School is coming to a close, my last final is on Tuesday and then back home to get my wisdom teeth out (You have NO IDEA how scared I am! I will listening to lots of Josh to calm me down). I was hoping to have lots of time to work on my Joshy ornament to send into the contest, but with my finals being so intense I'm not sure if I will have any time at all! Oh well, even if I don't send in the ornament I will have a cute one for myself. Merry Christmas everyone!

Glad He's Safe!

on October 19, 2007 - 9:21am

I'm so glad Josh is safe! The bomb that went off in the mall across from his hotel is so scarry! It's a blessing that he is safe and all of the grobie team is too. My heart goes out to all of the shoppers at the mall. I haven't heard anything from my family in the Philippines, but I know none of them work at that mall. Back in the 80's my mother was working at a mall in Makati (near where this bomb was) and had a bomb go off on the bottom of the mall she was working at (she was fine, but it was scarry). On JG.com some grobies were saying that it was probably kitchen gas that caused it. Josh come home safe and please have good memories of the Philippines!

JOSH IN PHILIPPINES!

on October 16, 2007 - 8:58pm

I'm so excited Josh is in the Philippines right now! If you don't know I'm half Filipino and they love him so much over there! I remember going and seeing so many of his CD's and DVD's all over the shelves (little did I know then that there was a special Philippines edition for his first album). He is going to get such a great welcome and if he is staying anywhere near the PICC hall then he his staying next to the "most beautiful sunset in the world". I hope Josh gets to see more of the country than just Manila (the capital). Manila is deciving because it is so modern, but it is still a 3rd world country. My family really wanted to go but with starting prices of $60 (remember peso exchange rate, that's like spending $250 per ticket in our minds) it just wasn't feesible. This fall or next spring I should be headed over to the Philippines for Study Abroad and will try and meet up with the other Filipino grobies (too bad I'm not there now!). I love seeing all of the video clips of Josh! Hopefully Nay will have them on her site soon! Have fun in the Philippines Josh! And perform there again when I am on study abroad! PINOY AKO!

Found the Holy Grail!

on October 11, 2007 - 10:20am

Ok, after a grueling day of two midterms I decided to run to target again and see if they had the Noel DVD. Since I had been there on the 9th and found out they hadn't recieved the shipment I wasn't really expecting them to have it, but as I neared I saw there was a something in the DVD slot. Looking closer I saw the sticker that said "Target Special Edition". I did a little hop in the middle of the store with a huge smile on my face. I'm pretty sure the CD guy recognized me from the day before and looked at me like I was crazy. It was the VERY LAST COPY they had. I ran home and popped in the DVD. It is so cute! Josh is such a goofball! I'm pretty sure I've seen in 10 times and I'm still watching it! Thank you Josh for such a great album and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

P.S. I'll be home for Christmas always makes me cry because it is so beautiful
