New Website!

on November 11, 2009 - 12:57pm

It's been almost a year since I've posted anything in my journal and I have to admit, most of it is because of laziness and the fact that posting in threads on the board is so much easier. :) But, here I am again. I hope everyone is doing well, and I will try to update this better. :) I am so excited about this new website. I'm still trying to figure everything out. I think all of the friends I added on the old FoJG have been erased, so now I have to start that all over again...but, I'll live. :P I am also (really really) excited about the new album coming out. I have never been to one of Josh's concerts because his previous tours were before I really knew about him, but this time, I am definitely going to one (or maybe more than one!) of his concerts. I cannot wait.

July 4th

on July 7, 2008 - 3:54pm

So, this year I didn't go out to my aunt's neice's house for the 4th, where last year my mom got burnt from a firework going completely bizzurk on us. Instead, we went to my grandma's and visited the other side of my family. (including my awesome cousin Stephanie-she's 16, I can't believe it!-, my cousin Sean, and my crazy cousin Christian- I wouldn't be surprised if we found out he had ADD. :D)
Anyway, we all had a blast shooting off fireworks, eating ribs, watermelon, key lime tarts, potato salad, coleslaw, and biscuits. There were some funny parts to the night, like, when I was getting something out of the trunk of my car, I hit my head. (nice one, Laura) And when we lit a fountain that just shoots awesome-looking sparks up into the air, these three girls about 9-10 years old all the way across the street started screaming like we had just shot 100 bottle rockets at them. Goodness. Other than that, shooting fireworks was great. Oh, but I forgot to mention the neighbors behind us. The moment it got dark, BAM! They got out the big ones! You couldn't really see them, but boy, you could hear them alright! It sounded like a war was going on in my grandma's backyard! Geez! The drive home was good too; we saw a lot of fireworks being shot off. Really pretty. Turned out to be a really nice holiday weekend. Glad we got to see our family (no matter how crazy they can be sometimes :D). Hope everyone in the U.S. had a good 4th! :)

Back From Camp

on June 11, 2008 - 3:22pm

I got back from camp on Sunday and guess what? My friends and I ended up being in seperate cabins!!! Ah! At first we thought it was going to be horrible because we wouldn't be able to see each other. Well, it turned out to be awesome because we got to spend most of our time together at breakfast, lunch, dinner, and free time. We swam during free time and we all got sunburnt because "somebody" forgot to put on sunscreen and share their sunscreen with their friends. Haha! Okay, I'm off to eat dinner somewhere at The Legends...

Off to Camp...

on June 6, 2008 - 6:33am

I'm leaving today to go to the middle of Kansas for a camp. I'm going to be gone for about 3 days, which isn't that long, considering some camps are weeks long. It should be fun becuase my two best friends are going with me. I really hope they put us in the same cabin. What a tragedy it would be if we were seperated during those three days! That would be so unfair! But, on the bright side, we would get the chance to make new friends. I really hope that doesn't happen, though, because I think it would be so much more fun at camp if they were there with me.
So, now that I'll be gone for a couple of days, I'll have a lot of FOJG catching up to do, won't I? Unless it's one of those times where the boards are like ghost towns and it seems like nobody is putting up new topics or posting. Man, those are slow days, aren't they? But, if it's one of those weekends where a bunch of new stuff is posted, some of you will help me get caught up, right? *hint, hint* :D
