I was sitting at a restaurant a few days ago, and as can happen at any time, my poetry muse visited me. So I quickly scribbled this poem dedicated to my cats on a napkin. Thought I would share it.
Here it is:

MR. MISTOFFELEES AND RUMPELTEAZER

Mistoffelees and Rumpelteazer,
What a pair,
They're here, there and everywhere,
Under the covers of my bed,
Just when I've straightened out,
The spread,
On my desk chair,
When I need to sit down there,
On my laptop,
Oh, how I wish they'd stop!
Nothing is sacred anymore,
The can even open a locked door,
They're up all night,
Causing loud catfights,
I've lost so much sleep,
The trouble they've caused me,
Is getting very deep,
But I'll perservere under their onslaught,
For their unconditional love of me,
Can't be bought.
