Alot has been going on

Alot has been going on in my life since the entries I posted at the beginning of Year 5. I broke my left wrist on Christmas Eve morning, back in 2007. And being left-handed, I had a terrible time getting things done around my house. I live alone, so I had to do everything myself; cooking cleaning, and doing the dishes was a chore, and I had to have someone write out checks for me so I could pay my bills, as well as balance my checkbook. The break I had was a bad one, but not bad enough for the surgeon to operate on. I kept the brace on longer than what I was supposed to; the surgeon told me to take off the brace at the beginning of March, but I left it on until April. I know; it was very stupid of me to do that. But I didn't know my wrist was healed, and I didn't want to take any chances. I finally asked my regular doctor if he would x-ray my wrist when I went for my check-up in April, and that was when I found out that it pretty much had been healed since March. I took off my brace as soon as I got home from seeing my doctor that day. It's been a very rough go, but the strength seems to be almost all back, or it's as strong as I think it's ever going to get. It still isn't as strong as it was before the break, but I think that's to be expected.
