I too have a brother whom i share a birthday with..well almost we're 4 days apart, thus...my parents thought it would be too much of bonanza to have 2 bdays in a space of 4 days!...so we had to share the party. :D..My first solo birthday was when my brother moved out of the house...and i got plenty of them after haha..because he's 8 years older than me! He got older much faster than I did..haha.. But i do love him! He's my favorite bro!(is that a bad thing to say??) ;)BTW I'm hitting 29 here pretty soon too :D. '81 babys RULE!

That is so great, at least the cupcake was good... my sister's have the same situation on having their B-day on the same day but they are actually 8yrs apart. Six years ago this summer I will have heard your voice for the first time. My Step-Father had just passed away and my Mom and I were on our way back home from the hospital; a 3 1/2 hour trip. The car was quiet; an eerie quiet. I wanted to comfort my Mom, somehow; but there were no words I could say to help ease her pain and mine. I turned on the radio, hoping to find something soothing to the soul. As you began to sing, "You Raise Me Up" we both began to cry. Our souls were touched in a way that only a true artist blessed with a gift from God can.
Thank You for YOU, sharing your talent and bringing so much joy to us all.
I had the wonderful opportunity to be at the Walmart Home Office when you performed. To SEE you and hear you - I was in tears! The Razorback jacket you wore in this photo, I actually won in an auction! Another precious memory I have of THE MAN who has the voice of an angel; the angel whom comforted me in my time of need.

I share the same birthday with my twin sister (makes sense doesn't it?) AND our father. As for learning to share...did you guys ever get just one present you HAD to share, my sis & I did...big bummer. I just wanted to let you know how many ways your music has touched my life.

My mom is a huge fan and listens to your music all the time. We worked for an elderly woman who had a stroke and was unable to talk. When we would put your cd's on you could see a calmness come over her face and she would start humming the words. And that's when I became a fan.

I suffer from severe anxiety/panic attacks, but was able to see you at Mohegan Sun in CT and was able to stay and listen which was an amazing experience for me because normally I wouldn't even be able to go out at night.

I have a 4.5 year old daughter named Casey with Autism. From a very young age she absolutely loves listening to your music. She could be having a complete meltdown due to her Autism and I can put in your first cd and we can't believe how much it calms and soothes her, she stands with her arms in the air and spins and dances and just becomes so calm and happy. It's amazing! This is one of the few things that actually can calm and sooth her. Her pre-school teachers have seen first hand how your music affects her and have made copies of your cd's that they use at school to help teach her. Your song "You Are Loved" has such a special place in my heart because the words are as if I am singing to Casey.

My best friend of 22yrs passed away suddenly in Aug. 2009, and I'm having a hard time dealing with the realization that it happened, and I'm numb to the reality of it. But when I put in your cd's it helps to get a release out of me that I so desperately need to get out. I'm sure you know the songs I'm thinking of.
