Dear Josh,

I am so excited for you to come to Boston. The date of your concert 7/26 is a really hard day for me. Back in 2007 when my son was just nine years we were told on 7/26 that our little boy had AML Leukemia. This is type of Leukemia is "mean" and very hard to beat. My son went through two rounds of chemo to fight this beast. He is a brave warrior! Then we were told that our twelve year daughter was "Perfect Match" for him. There is only a 25% chance of a sibling match. Whats more rare is a "Perfect Match". This means that they both had identical HLA. It was beyond a miracle for my son. On Oct. 23 2007 my son received his sister's life saving marrow! He will be turning thirteen soon and he is doing great!

I usually dread 7/26 because it was the worst day of my life. Hearing that your child has cancer is life changing. So, instead of being depressed at home I will be at your concert having the time of my life!

When I listen to you singing "Changing Colors" it reminds me of what my son and I went through together during those four months in the hospital and beyond. I know you did not write the song but, they way you sing it makes me believe that you are connected to it in some way.

I might be crying at your concert when you sing the song but, don't worry they are good tears.

Take care & God blessings,

[]
