For the families of all Chilean miners and their safe return…

'With Every Breath'

With every breath you take
I feel my heart beat stronger
While our eyes meet with so much care
We could not help but to stare
Into one another’s soul

In my thoughts I need you here
To comfort me I bring you near
With every breath
I want you more
To hold onto my fading soul

Within the silence of my world
Through the night I lay alone
With every breath I look to see
For when you will return for me

I only hope you’ll hold me close
Wrap your loving arms around my soul
And excite my world once more
So I can fall into your eyes again

With every beat of your heart I'll be feeling
I’ll rest peacefully to the rhythm of your breathing
And crave you even more

With every breath

You mean only
That much more

With every breath

I will only
Love you more

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It’s been almost two years since I wrote this poem about deeply missing a hearts love, and now it seemingly fits the situation between the miners and their families as they await to be reunited.
I hope you enjoy my poem,
jan
