First of all I would like to thank Sarah and everyone responsible for giving me the opportunity to do this report. I’ve been a fan of Josh for nearly 10 years now and I couldn’t believe it when I read that he’s not only coming to Switzerland but even to my hometown Lucerne.

The first highlight of the evening was of course the Meet&Greet with Josh. I could hardly believe it when he stood right infront of me. I was very nervous but I tried to say at least something(which I luckily managed to do). Even though he is such a huge star he seems so humble and down-to-earth. I also gave him a little present: The most famous sight of Lucerne made out of delicious Swiss chocolate. The moment was gone so quickly it took me a while to realise that I’ve just met Josh.

Then we took our seats in 2nd row. I’ve never been so close to the stage in a concert and the view was amazing. The show started with a instrumental introduction of „Straight to you“ which is one of my favorite songs on his new album. Throughout the whole show I loved him interacting with the crowd a lot. The Q&A part was very funny especially his simulated duet between Bob Marley and himself and of course when someone gave him a giant toblerone ! During the songs « Weeping » and « Machine » the audicence was standing and clapping and the energy he had on stage was definitely contagious.

As this was my first Josh concert I was wondering how he really sounded live and I can only say that I’ve never heard such an incredible voice before. Also his band was amazing, really talented musicians!

My own personal highlights of the show was firstly him playing the drums. I always loved that when I watched all the dvds from the previous tours and I was so hoping that he would do it as well here. He’s definitely got so many different talents. Secondly I was so touched when he played „Awake“ which is my favorite song of all time! I couldn’t hold back the tears during the song.

It’s really difficult to express with words what I’ve experienced that night because after waiting for it so long it seemed like a never ending dream for me. I can only thank Josh and his crew for the night of my life. I will definitely never forget it!
