Amsterdam

2003 was a tough year for me. I got out of a very bad relationship, I lost my job and was trying to find a new one. One of the good things was I discovered Josh. I went all on my own to Amsterdam (which is a 2 hour drive from Antwerp)fully excited and waiting to see Josh perform. My god, I got what I wanted and more. I cried during the whole concert...I think I had to get all the pain and hurt out of me...and Josh's music helped me do just that. A woman who sat next to me even asked me if everything was ok...which was kind of funny... It must have been a strange sight, seeing this boy cry during the whole concert.
Afterwards I drove home with a Josh Cd on play, I still cried, but now more from pleasure. I was just so happy to have seen Josh.

This concert is printed in my mind for ever.

We meet in London, I'm Comming from Spain!!

Dear Josh, I dreamed about you last night.
It was a peaceful sleep and happy, we were seated at a table drinking coffee, talking about the time I had the luck to be in a concert of you. It was in London, and after finishing the concert, I wait, I wait for you and finally you have appeared, your car stop and there were many people who wanted to talk to you and I was away and I shouted: Josh, I come from Spain! And was when you look at me, only me! thanks for that precious moment! I got also an autograph yours and even I could give two kisses, in Spain we always give two! :)! I was lucky!
And all that we've discussed tonight, and also in my dream I managed to get a picture with you, and the best is that has been my husband who has made the picture, he also admires you! This is all that I needed a photo together!
Upon awakening I felt happy and fortunate to have dreamed of you! Thanks Josh for being there even in my dreams and make me feel so much emotions, so beautiful, thanks for making me happy!
A hug and a kiss from your fan of Barcelona, Spain. Always be in my heart!

My Second Josh Groban concert: Pregnant, hot , and outdoors

My second concert was at the Cythia Mitchell's Woodlands Pavillion which is an outdoor venue. Did I mention in Houston? In other words, hot and humid. I was about 8 months pregnant and my daughter apparently was not a Grobanite yet. She made me miserable the whole concert by moving and kicking. I still enjoyed it as best as I could but she since reformed as is a Grobanite.

Sacramento, 2004

I think Sacramento, CA was the second stop on Josh's frist concert tour. It was at Memorial Autorium, and that is not a great place for his kind of concert. It was throughly enjoyed by all and I had my husband with me. He was so surprised to see so many men in the audience. He thought it would mainly be older women and grandmothers. There were a lot of them there too. He appeals to all ages. It has been a wonderful 10 years just seeing how he has developed. He still seems his real, old self. Not changed by his success. Lets hope that keeps up.

My Valentine

Been a fan of Josh's since day 1 been to all of his Clevland concerts... He always seems to show up in Cleveland, Ohio on Valentine's Day or the day before or the day after... anyway... I bought roses on sale the day after Valentines day... a ton of them and gave them to his MG.. Brian.. at the time to give to Josh.. ... I asked him where Josh was... I had a big warm hat on... and he just stared at me??? like I was nuts!
He said he had not come to the theater yet... anyway I got to meet Brian... and that was a thrill too.. It was fun getting dressed up all in black velvet... We had pretty good seats at the Playhouse Square... at times I thought he was looking at me... and I felt his eyes cast upon me... but... one fleeting moment in time..
I suppose... His concert at the Playhouse Square was so awesome..

JG Concerts

Had the best time seeing this wonderful vocalist and had great seats to boot. (3rd row center stage!) :D

Closer Tour: Mansfield, MA

I saw Josh in concert for the first time back in '04 at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA. It was an amazing concert in an outdoor venue. One thing that sticks out in my mind about the concert was that when Josh started singing "Remember When it Rained", it actually started raining. It was a great concert!

Best day of my life

I had gotten tickets to the concert at the Post Gazette Pavilion in Pittsburgh for the 2004, but I had no idea this was going to be the concert in which I was going to meet him.
My grandfather had passed away a day before my 24th birthday that year, and it was very unexpected. So, my mom kept putting in his music, saying it made her feel better, as did I.
Well, when I heard about the essay contest that FOJG was having about why you wanted to meet Josh, I was still in a somber mood while I was writing it and listening to his music had given me peace.
So, I had put my cell phone number down as a way to reach me, and that evening when Warner Brothers Records called, I was working at Barnes and Noble. I went on my break and seen I had a missed call from a number that I didn't recognize. So, I was just curious and I called it back. They said that were from the record company and asked me if I was going to the concert coming up. I said yes. And then they asked me if I wanted to meet Josh. I swear the whole store must have heard me shriek. It was one of the best days of my life. I must have floated through the store the rest of my shift.

Camden. NJ Concert

I went to see Josh on Sunday night, and at the Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ, with my lovely mom who loves him too. I'm still on cloud nine!!! I love him so much! My daughter says I am obsessed.
When he sang "You Raise Me Up", he had a choir join in. I looked at the young faces of the choral singers, and wondered if they might be of a local NJ school. Cool. Well he finally introduced them as the Upper Darby High School Choir in PA!!!! That's where I went to school, and I was in the choir!!!! I turned to my mom and said - "That could have been me up there!!!" She promptly brought me back down to earth by saying: "Of course, when you were in the choir, Josh Groban wasn't even born yet!!!!!" Thanks, Mom!!
