Valentine Concert - Cleveland, OH

I was so excited that my son had bought tickets for the February,
2005 concert as my Christmas gift. The seats were great and I
looked forward to finally seeing Josh Groban in person! Well,
I guess it was not to be since two days before the concert I
was diagnosed with pneumonia and ended up in the hospital. It was
so upsetting that I would not be able to attend the concert. I
can remember saying to my husband that maybe I could still go
somehow which of course did not happen! It was such a huge dis-
appointment for me that I just cried & cried. I just could not
understand why I had to get pneumonia right before the concert but finally accepted that I would have to wait for his next Cleveland, Ohio concert and be content to play all his CD's.

The Most Amazing Night EVER!!!!

I had purchased tickets thru ebay in January 2005 for Josh's pretty much sold out concert in New Orleans. We had some real sad stuff happen in our life so seeing Josh was our "looking and moving forward" event. My daughter Kait was graduating and this was part of her graduation gift. We had "nosebleed" seats so I had written Josh a letter telling him about our circumstances and how awesome it would be if we could somehow get an upgrade on our seats. Well, there we sat and Chris Botti was performing and I was feeling like nothing was going to happen. My husband was sympathetic but thought all along it was a "reach". Well, lights came on and here comes this guy running up the stairs and says, "Okay, whose the big Groban fan?" Everyone around us starting shouting, "We are, we are!" And then he looks in our direction and says, "No, who in these seats is the big fan?" My heart stopped and he handed me 4 floor seat tickets. I couldn't believe it. As we were making our way down he said, "Happy Graduation!" This was so un-freaking-believable! Concert was amazing and unfortunately, we had to drive back to Pensacola right after the concert.

One of the Most Memorable Times of my Life

Dear Friends,

I'm a big dork

So, I was 17 when I saw my one and only concert. I was a huge dork about it too! I geeked out even before Josh was on the stage and when he finally came out and started saying how happy he was to be there that night, I screamed "I love you Josh," he looked in my general area and said, "I love you too." If that wasn't enough I laughed so hard when some guy close to me said that he loved Josh and he just smile and said, "Thanks". I'm not sure if it made me a bigger dork for saying it then, or being 22 years old and still reliving that moment and loving it! LOL
I just can't wait for the next album... soon I hope!

My one and only Josh concert

I've only been able to attend one Josh concert, and that was the March 15, 2005 concert in San Antonio, TX at the SBC Center. I had actually bought the tickets for my oldest daughter as a Christmas present. You see, March 15th 2005 was her 16th birthday! As a rabid Grobanite herself, I knew she would freak out when she realized she was spending her sweet 16 with Josh! ;)

Come back to Florida

Words can not express what an awesome performance Josh gave at the Orlando Arena. We are so hoping to se Josh in Central Florida this year.

My Josh!

Starting this with a letter to Josh

Dear Josh,

I am writing this in letter format as if I were writing to a friend. If you were my friend I would write you this letter because I might not have the courage to tell you all that your music and the person you are has meant to me.

I discovered your music in 2004 after I went to see the movie, “Polar Express”. I loved the song and your voice.

I had just bought a new imac laptop and had downloaded itunes. When I started listening to little snatches of your songs, I realized what a gift your voice was to the world.

I am a pianist, singer and music teacher. I played music for twenty years with my husband, Jack. We played all kinds of music from Bob Dylan to jazz standards. My background is classical.

My husband passed away suddenly of a heart attack in 2004. Needless to say, I was devastated. I had a really hard time playing the music that we used to play together. That’s where you come in. After I started listening to your music, you gradually inspired me to play again. The more I listened to your music, I started to feel a feeling of serenity and comfort.

Concert in Columbus, OH

At this concert, we had great seats, on the side. There was one part where Josh was in the audience, and was walking down the isles! We were so excited, as we were just about to have him walk by - when he turned left and went down another isle. I was so bummed, but I got a great picture :o) and memory! (the picture isn't digital yet, and needs to be found!)

Truly Beautiful

Not usre if the concert we went to was in 2004 OR 2005. We had seats in the center 9th row from stage-Fort Meyers, Florida. We drove 6 hours back and fourth to see Josh sing. I was mesmerized by his voice, his humble way and his Violin Player.
Actually all of his back-up. What a great contribution he has made to the world sharing his voice.
