Melbourne, Australia Concert.

i was so excited to read in the paper on Mother's Day 2007 that Josh would be coming to Australia September 28th 2007. i jumped around my mums kitchen so excited, i told everyone i know that i was going and that i wanted nothing less than front row centre, they all laughed at me.

On June 4th my birthday i got up early went to get in line to get my ticket where i got FRONT ROW CENTRE, it was the best birthday present the Universe could give me.

the night of the concert you could feel the magic and the excitment as everyone getting seated. From the moment josh started to sing it was like there was no-one else in the concert hall. My eyes just followed Josh around the stage, it was even more exciting when Josh came into the audience to sing In her eyes.

Josh is one artist who sounds even more brilliant live than he does on his albums.

Thank you Josh for letting me escape for the two hours you performed at Hamer Hall Melbourne, Australia.

Class Act

I went to Josh Groban's concert at The MGM Grand Garden Arena in 2007. Before he sang "Awake", he made mention of our military forces over seas. He said that whatever our view is on the war, we need to support those Americans defending us. He made no mention of his political view or interpersonal views and I thought that was incredibly classy. This is why Richard Marx wrote for you and never sang a mean song about you the way he did John Mayer, which by the way was hilarious, I was there (Youtube it), even though I still kind of like him! Way to class it up, Josh!

My First Josh Groban Concert.

Hi Everyone,

This is my first day on this forum, but I wanted to share the amazing night I had!

My first, (and sofar my only), Josh Groban concert was on August 29th, 2007 at the Pepsi Center. That night held a lot of significance for me. Not only was it my first Josh Groban concert, but it was my first time going to an ANY type concert. Oh yeah, and it was my first time going to the Pepsi Center. LOL!

Anyways, I went to the concert with two of my best friends. That concert was above and beyond anything I had imagined it would be. And I could not think of a more perfect song to open the show with than, "You are Loved". I'd have to say that that song is my favorite off of his AWAKE album. I also like "February Song", "So She Dances", and "In Her Eyes". However, I would have to say that my favorite part of the concert was when he sang, "You Raise Me Up". I heard that song for the first time back in 2005, (shortly after hearing about him). Never before had a song moved me to tears....literally.

Josh's 2007 Awake Tour in Salt Lake City Utah

I first saw Josh perform when he appeared on Ally McBeal, and I was blown away! With two other friends, I finally got the privledge of seeing him live in concert for the 'Awake' tour in August 2007. That's the concert where the live concert video was produced. The energy there was amazing and almost magical, like going to Disneyland when I was a child. He performed to perfection, as always. He is now and will always be my favorite performer. I am so happy to know about him and to get the opportunity to have his musical talent in my life. His music has touched me in so many ways. My only regret from his 2007 concert was that I let my friend talk me into buying the less expensive tickets, when personally I wish I would have been closer to the stage. Now I'll know better for next time and I can't wait to see him again when he comes to Salt Lake City, Utah!

Norfolk Awake concert Jul 2007

My daughter, my friend and I left Clarksville, MD around 1pm to avoid Washington,DC Friday afternoon traffic and it still took us 6 hours for an anticipated 4 hour trip. I thought I was going to miss my first chance to finally see Josh in concert but :) we got to hotel around 715, ran up to freshen up and we were on the hotel shuttle to the SCOPE arena by 745. We got to the Arena to locate our seats just as Angela Kidjou was finishing her performance. :( Then we had about a 30 minute wait, saw some familiar faces and then ... JOSH GROBAN! Oh my gosh, I mean OH MY JOSH! It was fantastic and more than I could imagine. Earlier when we arrived at the arena, my sweet daughter had traded seats with me so I could be on the aisle. I couldn't believe it when Josh sang In Her Eyes and was coming down through the crowd, he walked and sang right past me. I was able to touch his arm and he was gone just as quickly. It was amazing and unbelievable to be in his presence!

First Concert Bridgewater Hall Manchester

I first saw Josh in May 2007 at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, England. It was one of the best concert I've been to.
I managed to get tickets at the last minute ! & sat 4 rows from the front.Couldn't have been better.

Also I saw 'Chess in Concert' at the Royal Alebert Hall,London in 2008 -great. Was well worth the trip down to London.

Scotiabank Place Feb 27th in Ottawa

I was lucky enough to score three tickets to Josh Grobans' concert here in Ottawa three years ago. Took my mother and BFF, and we sat front row, second deck. I remember having tears in my eyes as the show started, knowing this was a very special event. The music took me to a place of beauty, sorrow, and joy. We were enthralled when Josh suddenly appeared unexpectedly right beneath us following an instrumental piece, and began singing in a brilliant blaze of multicoloured light. He appeared to have a genuinely engaging stage presence, and managed to make the large venue appear much more intimate and fun. Kudos to all the incredible musicians and sound-tek-geeks; Scotiabank Place accoustics can sound really messy if not tweaked carefully. My only regret is not having brought the camera...d'oh! One of the best concerts I've ever been to, and I've been to many...bravo!
