AWAKE Concert Tour

I finally got to attend one of Josh's concerts in Feb. 2008
and decided it was well worth waiting for. It was almost
unbelievable that I was listening to his beautiful, emotional
voice in person. The orchestra was wonderful as well. There
was a terrible snowstorm that night in Cleveland and I thought
we would not make it but thank God we did arrive in time. I
was determined one way or another to see him since 3 yrs.
prior I was in the hospital with pneumonia and had to miss the
concert!

I was lucky enough to be 5th row at thia fabulous concert. It was also made into a DVD which was all the more exciting. Cannot wait for him to hit the road again. Anxiously waiting,

Unbelievable concert, my first ever concert and I think my jaw was in my lap for most of the concert, I just couldn't believe that someone could sound better live than on CD?? Only thing I was dissapointed about is that I didnt see the closer tour, favourite song is on that album si volvierous a mi, probablt spelt wrong I apologise. Yeah the concert was just awesome, when he came down through the crowd when he sang In her eyes was just awe inspiring. Im 6'5 and when he walked past all I could think was holy crap he's almost as tall as me???

Bridge School Benefit

I saw Josh in 2008 at the Bridge School Benefit. I was so touched by his manner with the children, and his beautiful voice. I loved his February Song, and was encouraged to try writing my own song after hearing the most beautiful voice in the world, miss a few of his own.

My first Josh Groban concert

WOW! That's the only way to start this! Nothing much happened, leading up to the concert, but, I asked my sister to come out to No. Va from Michigan to see Josh Groban's concert and we had an unforgetable time at the MCI Center. What an amazing gift Josh Groban has!! We grew up in a family that helped shape our love for quality voices in song!

When josh came down in the audience the song in her eyes were playing I forgot all about it I was getting my camera ready. Then the song began . I turned around there he was. I was so surprise. I forgot to tell the woman setting next to us about it. I thought she was going to die. She was so surprise.Everyone wanted to get his autograph but the security was to tight. Even when we went out side there was still a lot of security around. He got to big to fast. The people that got his autograph over the years they were lucky.

Awake Tour 2008

I went twice! I also went to a CD signing the November before in NYC. I went alone to the concerts because I couldn't find anyone who liked him that wanted to spend a hundred bucks or so! So, I got awesome floor seats at the Wachovia Arena in Philadelphia, and a really close section at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, NJ.
Both concerts were incredible...as is Josh!

THE CONCERT THAT WASN'T

Josh was due to perform in Durban, South Africa in March 2008. I was so excited and booked tickets 5 rows from the front! I was so looking forward to seeing him perform live and was absolutely shattered when, a week before the concert, it was cancelled due to the promotor failing to honour his commitments and Josh decided not to perform in sub-standard conditions. My heart was broken and I was eagerly awaiting a new date. However, it was not to be and now I am resident in UK I am hoping and praying that Josh will come over here very soon and I will at last be able to see and hear him LIVE.

The day tickets went on sale I went screaming out the back door to tell my mom. She asked "how much?" my answer "does it matter?!?!" We bought 3 tickets and took our co-worker Carolyn with us.
The show- OMG!! That about sums it up.
Totaly blew my socks off the entire time. I laughed at his jokes, I cried when he sang "you are loved". It was the best evening I have ever spent with my mom and I dont think it can ever be topped! I really hope he comes back to Denver sometime soon!

Sadly, no pictures were taken. My camera was a pile of poop at the time.
