Future concert in Germany!!!!
November 2, 2009-Celtic Thunder
Sadly, I have not yet seen Josh live. :( I will one day. I'm pulling up all my money now for college. I did get to see Celtic Thunder on November 2nd and the only down side (if it's really even a down side lol) is that they don't talk between songs haha! on Live at the Greek and so many YouTube videos, you see Josh teasing the audience and having mini conversations. Celtic Thunder isn't just one guy, so it's harder to do that and not have some favoritism showed. Damian in particular is rather quiet. I think Paul would do most of the talking haha! But I think Josh has it going great for himself. He can just be up there on stage and be himself and sing his songs. (And he doesn't have to wear a kilt for ten minutes at the end of every show) hahaha! ok it's late (or early, rather: 2:06 AM) and I need sleep. Just thought I'd post any concert experience. I want to see Josh live so bad!!!! *hops up and down*
KSPS
Like most people, I had of course heard of Josh Groban but never paid that much attention until I happened to turn into the KSPS network on New Years eve 2009.
Needless to say, I was totally in awe of his talent and it was the Greatest New Years Eve ever.
Thank you for sharing this evening with so many people, and I wish you much success in 2010.
Hope you will get fairly close to Calgary, AB in 2010. Would love to see you live,
Hart

You Raise Me Up Saved Me
My best friend was dying. She had Cystic Fibrosis and was starting to decline, her breathing was weathered and her amazing energy was now forced. We spent the day at the beach (followed by a few cocktails), and listening to the entire Closer cd in the car on the way home. Shannon passed away a few days later.
As her best friend, I wanted to honor her memory and joined the CF Foundation running team to run the prestigious Boston Marathon. I'm not a runner at ALL, but our team raised $150k for the CF ward at Boston Children's Hospital - they support the families as they stay with their children in the hospital.
The day of the race, I had my iPod ready and was nervous but ready to go. My heart was a beating a million thumps a minute and I felt Shannon with me the entire day.
But as the day went on, I was struggling. And as the mile marker for mile 17 was ahead of me, I couldn't go on. I was hurt and my heart was sad. I missed my best friend. And I stopped, put my hands on my knees and started to cry. And there was the song.... You Raise Me Up on my iPod. Shannon sent her love through you and your song.

Where will you be New Years 2010

Teacher in Hartford
Hi Josh,
I am a teacher in Hartford, CT and am trying to post on your blog. I have been listening to you for years. I have been a teacher in Hartford, CT for 7 years. I have been trying to teach my students to love music and understand it is for interpretation. They love when I play you because they feel a sense to make meaning. You teach my students to read while feeling they "feel." I would love for you or your band to come to my school so they could learn what hard work can accomplish. Please contact me at clarc003@hartfordschools.org if you could accommodate my requests. Thanks. Corinn
Request...
Hello. My name is Israel, i'm from Portugal and I have a request to make. first of all, I have lupus, an immunitary disease. It has no cure whatsoever. But it's quie rare, so there aren't many researches in the area. I am trying to make people aware of thos disease. In that ambit, I created a video, to post on youtube,... using the music You are loved, from Josh Graoban. As you may know, youtube blocks all copyrighted music. But I took josh's words and made them mine : Don´t give up! So, I came here, requesting the permission to use the music in my video. The video link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CYSSNJf8m0 . It has an alternative music, but of you turn the youtube sound off and put josh's music running at the same time, you will see it fits perfectly. I don't know if i'm sending this request to the right place, if i'm not, please inform me the right on. My apologises for the long email, anf hoping to solve this, yours truly, Israel
