New Recording of "We Are The World" to Benefit Haiti
Josh and some of the biggest stars in the music industry gathered in Hollywood Monday, the day after the Grammys, for an even bigger occasion: to record a new version of “We Are the World.” Proceeds from the song will go to benefit Haiti in the wake of that country’s devastating earthquake, as well as mark the 25th anniversary of the original collaboration.
Josh tweeted yesterday, "Just sang my heart out for 5 hours...This is a group performance that people will remember forever. Two names...Streisand and Weezy." I am also a songwriter (can't sing for beans) and have written one dedicated to Haiti and all the people down on their luck that I would like you to hear.

I was excited to hear of the remake of We Are the World. And when I first heard about it, I immediately thought, "I hope Josh will be a part of it this time around." So glad to hear that this is the case! Can't wait to hear the new version!!!

The first version came out around the time my mom died(I was in my 20's) I'd vision she was somewhere like in the video, surrounded by love, peace and music.
