Not sure all of the comments are entirely fair. The 4 track bonus edition is available in South Africa (www.musica.co.za). So non-US fans are not being neglected, at least not all of them.

On 1/5 josh posted on facebook that he was so overwhelmed by fan reaction to his new album. I wonder how "overwhelmed" he would be after reading all these comments. This isn't fair to fans and i'm sure we are "overwhelmed" that he would do such a thing to his loyal fans. I don't have money laying around to buy extra albums, and i'm sure i'm not alone. Bitter and disappointed.

I agree with all of you! I just paid for the Fan edition because last album it came with a beautiful booklet, DVD and CD. Now I come to find that there is a Target edition with an extra track and an HSN with the making of 'All that Echoes' I find it completely unfair . Marketing wise is a fail because the more CD's and bundles you have out there the more production and most people are not going to buy it twice. Bottom line is that US the FANS paid to receive the FAN EDITION which every album prior we got the CD/DVD. I wish Josh the best always a fan but not of his marketing team.

I agree with the rest of you. I think I have ordered some version of this album 5 times. Now Target is going to have something different? Why would't FOJG members get the perks!! I love Josh and his music but this is getting crazy!!

I AM CONFUSED! I was having trouble getting into my FOJG account because of my password. I finally figured it out and now I'm in here again. I joined on the first day, Oct. 28th 2003 and have always loved it. Now I'm seeing all of these letters about W.B.,Target and HSN etc.and I too am wondering, "what the???" Most of you do not think that Josh is aware of this, but I do not see how he could NOT be! Since I have loved Josh since the very first time I heard and saw him (many years ago) that will not change, but---Answers anyone??? PLEASE!

I understand that to make money companies offer added extras such as bonus tracks etc but these should also be offered to fanclub members, Please dont be angry at Josh as I am sure he didnt have a say in this.I would imagine that he is feeling sad about the way we are feeling about this matter.
This cd isnt available to international fans neither is the cd /dvd from HSN also we dont have access to the concert in cinemas either.I am just hoping that these come available in time. Here in the UK we have to wait until Febaury 25th for the release of all that echoes but today I have found out the reason for this is so that Josh can be in the UK for the release for promos and the like . As you can imagine the news made smile, we get to see Josh on tv over here,
I am a little sad that he is over here the week after my week on from work so I wont be able to go to any tv tapings but hey, I hope I am in the country for his tour dates.
Once again please don't be angry at Josh he is amazing with his fans , he is very generous with his time which he doesnt have to be. We are very lucky to be able to share the experience that is Josh Groban and what an experince it is.

I spoke a few days ago and this Target offer has been on my mind in that it is better than the exclusive fan edition-only marginally as there is another version of 'Changing Colours'.

All this does as Floridanancy says leaves a bad taste in your mouth. The only extra benefit for joining the fan club is 10% off merchandise and I notice there is virtually nothing in it now, except the music and living outside the US it would be cheaper to just go to the local music store. We get a chance to get tickets for the tours a day or 2 early, I bought 3 for the last tour and for myself, my mother and my 6 yr old daughter but I don't think I will bother next tour. I can't understand why Josh's management has even let this problem arise as it was obvious it would.

During the FYL auction I sat up until 1.30 am in order to get a signed piano book for my daughter's birthday present and I did not begrudge a penny of the money I paid because I think Josh is so humble in his attempts to help others less fortunate than himself. The more money we can help him raise the better.

All Josh's loyal fans will bitch about what has happened and if they are anything like me they will eventually buy all the copies-I may miss out on the Target one because I don't know anyone in the US anymore.

I end up buying 4 copies of his albums, 1 for me, 1 for my daughter, those only available to FOJG and the itunes one but I'm debating whether that will happen this time. As the others say it really is debateable whether to rejoin the fanclub when our memberships need renewing.

I fear all these post will get ignored and just dismissed which will be a pity if they are, because Josh's management/record company/WB are alienating the loyal fans and I think Josh would be horrified if he knew that this is how we feel. They have managed to upset us enough to post our grievances on here although it leaves us looking disloyal.

It's obvious that Josh is grateful for the fans support otherwise he would not go to such great lengths to produce the wonderful music, or take great pains to make sure his live performances were enjoyable for all who attend.

I will go and listen to Illuminations-I have even accepted him covering my favourite Nick Cave song and I now love it more than the original, which shows how good he is because cover version are rarely better than the originals.

Come on Josh sort this whole mess out and continue being your crazy self, the one which the loyal fans are willing to give you our support no matter what.

I can't wait for the new album-25th February in the UK, I would even get a US itunes account to access the music released there that doesn't reach the UK/EU/rest of the world.

This sort of thing seems to get worse with each album/tour. Too many people trying to make a buck off of Josh. I'm sure he hates it as much as we do. He just wants to make the music and share it with his fans. Unfortunately, it reflects badly on him. We are really excited and thrilled with the anticipation of hearing new songs and Josh is equally, if not more, with the release and promotion of the new album and something like this comes along and takes away from that leaving a bad taste in everyone's mouths. It is unfortunate. Be patient. In time, we will see and hear all of it. Don't let the greediness of the music business ruin your pure enjoyment of JOSH.

I agree with everyone's posts about the fan-edition CD versus the Target edition as well. It's very unfair to ask people to pay that kind of money when we are under the assumption that we are getting the best possible deal for our money. On top of that , we pay that money and get a year's membership in the fanclub, which most of us are paid members anyway. It was a completely unfair deal. In edition, it was unfair that if you ordered the CD from QVC, you get a bonus DVD. We should have been offered that with our fan edition as well. I am very disappointed.

Is there time to put any extra tracks on the "exclusive" fans album? This is truly not fair. I would think that WB would see that. And, I do blame Josh... NO, just kidding. He's the best. I think Josh would be fair to us because of all the money we have sent in his name to the charities and because we ARE faithful to him. Does anyone have the power to change this?

Dear all, i cannot but agree 100% with all your comments. Fans outside the USA are already disadvantaged and did not need this. WB should be ashamed of their scheme to rip off loyal fans. However, that said, I want to insist that Josh probably has no say in all this so i'm not blaming him at all, still love him and his music, it's brought a fresh breeze in my life. I am truly upset with WB at this point + fans outside the USA have to travel therefore incurr various expenses in order to see Josh live in concert. I do as i'm certain he'll never come to Malta (my country). They should be ashamed!

Wow it seems we are all of one mind. Perhaps someone should send this stream to the record company. I agree with NYElaine that I'm really considering whether its worth rejoining next time especially as being outside the US I miss out on a lot of the lovely things on offer.

I commented earlier today; throughout the day this has been on my mind, and I have come up with a possible acceptable solution... for FOJG members who have pre-ordered the first Exclusive Fan Edition album offered, there could be a link on FOJG to click to purchase the extra track or (tracks if they are different), and "The Making of All That Echoes" DVD. I am not asking for anything free; Josh and all involved should be paid for their work. I am more than willing to purchase the extra tracks and the DVD, but I should not need to purchase the same album two and three times to get what should have been included in the "Exclusive Fan Edition" in the first place. It's like going to dinner, buying the full course dinner, only to be missing the salad, and then receiving 2/3rds of the dessert, and being told that you have to purchase another entire dinner or two to receive your full course.
I love Josh, his songs, I believe his album will be spectacular, and this marketing ploy really has nothing to do with Josh in respect to his work or talents. Perhaps it would not look as bad if it were not right after the holidays, the FYLF Auction, and the FOJG Toy Drive, which I am pleased and proud to have been able to do more for this year. However, as one of many with limited income, I did not need to renew my membership nine months early; I only did because I thought that I would be receiving a full "Exclusive Fan Edition" with the DVD and all bonus tracks.
This third album is just poor marketing that looks greedy, giving Josh a wrong image. And there is nothing greedy about Josh.

I have to agree with the other negative postings on the Target promotional offer. I think the folks who are responsible for the promoting of Josh Groban's music, merchandise, concerts, etc should've rethought this through. Its the FANS that have made Josh Groban the success he is. He has a wonderful talent.. that's not the issue... but talent alone.. especially in this day and age.. is not enough. The fan base has made Josh as much of a success as his music and voice. That being said.. the FOJG should get the BEST deal... and filter down from that. I think its ridiculous to ask serious fans to buy several albums just so they can get "unreleased tracks" or "bonus tracks". I think the marketing department better come up with an "apology offer" to the fans that have already pre-paid for Josh's 'All that Echoes' album. That might help take the sting off the matter. I know Josh does not control marketing... but maybe he'll see the comments and put his opinion in the matter... as I think he would agree with all of us fans. I look forward to the new album and his upcoming tour - despite this matter.

I ordered the fan edition. Why is this edition with three tracks and target's with four? This took some of the excitement of waiting for my delivery. So Sad for us Fans.Josh has some explaining to do. DISAPPOINTED!!!

All fans outside the US can't buy this Target edition since they won't ship abroad. That's pretty rotten to all the non American fans. :( And the fact that most fans outside the US have to wait several weeks extra for the CD isn't so great either.

As always, I spend my money to get ahold of every possible song; though the record label do their best to take advantage of true fans by releasing a bunch of editions. The fair thing to do would be to have just one edition; and certainly not more than 2, and the fanclub edition then being the one with extra stuff.

I'll always be a fan but I truly dislike being taken advantage of; and not even getting to buy all the songs because I don't live in the US. That just sucks.

i reeeeallllly dont have alot of money, but when it comes to luxuries josh comes before shoes and clothes and all that, but tickets to the concert stream, the album, and if i have enough to come up to NYC for the signing is alot, i mean truly, i understand a business is a business and you gotta make money and despite his amazing fan base josh isnt rolling around like half-naked justin beiber, but 3 separate bonuses on different albums? that is very disappointing, the fans should have the ultimate edition with everything, all of us have a valid point and we are being professional and polite and of course we all love josh still, but i fear that our few little voices and pleas arent going to be heard, so i tweeted to josh directly, and i think we all should, the more that do the more chance he will see it and i think he could do something about it. in the mean-time management, i am sorry if any aspect of the business is suffering financially and i wish we could do something to aid it, as much as the fans rally for charity im sure the fans would donate to the tour or whatever has a real need, but dont punish all of us like this, its terrible to see a hardcore fan being forced to choose which bonus they want because of limited funds. <3 thanks and love you all!

I AGREE with all the posts! I am very upset and disappointed as well! I've been a fan of Josh for years BUT just joined his fan club for the first time and this might be my last time! The fans should get the best deal and NOT find out after there are better deals around! If I knew that Target was going to get such a SWEET deal I would have waited and bought from there! If the release date for the CD is February 5, when does our pre-ordered CD ship? I live in NYC and see that Josh is doing a signing at Barnes & Noble on February 7. I doubt my CD will arrive by then and I REFUSE to purchase another one just for his signature! I'm not made of money either and don't think this is fair to all his loyal fans!!! PLEASE re-think this management!!

Would someone please explain what this Target album is about? I preordered the renewal membership/3 bonus track album bundle, then a another album is offered with the "Making of" which is what I have great interest in; but I am not made of money, and now this 4 bonus track Target album just feels like a big slap in the face of Josh's FOJG members. Is this how management really wants to treat Josh's devoted fans that have been promised exclusive products? Someone should deeply rethink this because this is just wrong!

Let me first say, I love Josh and his music and I support him in every way! Just ask my family and friends! I am very excited for his new CD to come out.

However, when I was renewing my FOJG membership the information says "Access to fanclub only merchandise and music". Surely this Target edition should be the fan club version. Actually the Fan Club version should be the Target CD with the HSN DVD. I'm not sure what I am paying $30 for when I can get the "most exclusive" content from Target for $15. I feel very cheated by Josh's management. I love Josh and support him in every way. However, having to purchase 3 CD's to get all the available material he has done is a bit ridiculous.

Management should rethink what the fan version will be. I joined FOJG to get in on the pre-sale for tickets to his last concert tour. Was not able to buy tickets during the presale. This year I purchased the membership thinking I was getting the "most exclusive" edition of the CD. All exclusive content to this site is released later the same day or the next. I have seen nothing that is truly exclusive to this site. I see no need to keep re-joining FOJG. :(

As hard as it is to wait until Feb. 5th for this new CD, I would be willing to wait a few more weeks if a true fan edition was released. Management please reconsider what our fan edition CD is going to include. I can wait while you repackage it. Thank you! :)

I don't have to worry about all the different editions of the All That Echoes album. I live in Sweden and I know there's only going to be one available here. And it's only going to be one version. This new one with 4 bonus tracks is only available at Target, wich is a US store. A little sad that you have to live in US to get these different editions and these chances to catch you live on a show. A lot of your fans are living outside USA and I must say that I feel a bit left out of it.

And then music companies are surprised that everyone downloads tracks from the Internet.. :)

This is ridiculous. You don't know which CD to buy anymore. 1st you decide on the Fan edition, only to hear a short while later that a better version bundled with a DVD is available from HSN. Now a new version from Target with even more bonus tracks. Management is definitely up to something here and I don't like it.

I agree with the last 2 posts. This is getting ridiculous now, why is there a fan edition with 3 and now this with 4. I also looked at the release dates for the album and they are different everywhere, UK not until 25th. I am slowly going off Josh because I don't know what his management are playing at. We buy the album, then another comes out with a short video and now this one. I don't even know what Target is and if it is a US store that doesn't give his fans outside the US an opportunity to buy it. Come on Josh sort your management out and stop treating you fans like fools and even cashcows.

I agree completely with the previous correspondent. I naturally assumed the Fan Edition would be the best one (we had nothing to compare it with at the time). It is very disappointing if we miss out on the video, presumably because it was not ready in time. The "making of'" videos are always very interesting and enjoyable. And what's the extra track about too?
Hope management can come to a solution - I've already paid for two fan editions.

So please tell me why the Fans edition has 3 bonus tracks and the Target edition have 4 tracks and a video??? I was hoping that the Fans edition would be the cream of the crop, not second best. Love the music but I really don't want to buy another CD to get the 4th bonus track. Please rethink this one management.
