  • Your beautiful voice and zest for life is helping me get through these very rough , painful days.

For many years one of my sons has been a drug addict and suffered from mental illness. It started at 15 and he is now 39. It has been so hard watching him making him making these terrible choices and coming close to death recently and not really making a difference to him. It is so painful to experience your child in the depths of darkness and you can't do a thing.
Josh, your music from when I first heard it many years ago just warmed my heart. The depth of feeling in your vice is so healing. When I was getting radiation treatments for breast cancer last year the techs let me hear your cd's while I received treatments. It really helped me get through it. Thank you. I was just told that my son has probably done permanent damage to brain by use of such strong drugs this time. He was missing for eight days and no one knew where he was. The police hung pictures of him all over Yonkers where he lived . He finally was found still alive in Queens on the street by police totally incoherent. It is so sad. I met you at a meet and greet at Mohegan sun just before your play began. I told you at that time that your song Don't give up was keeping me together. You looked into my eyes and Josh your eyes are like pools of compassion and you signed my program. Don't you ever give up. I look at those words and listen to the song and pray. I thank God that a genuine, gifted person is there for so many of us. I wish you every happiness and may God forever bless you and your beautiful family. Love Dottie.
