hearing that you are the worst isn't very encouraging

I just got an email from the owner of the store that I work at, telling us what are numbers are, and how we all need to do better. The usual upper management mentality. Then he got into our individual standings, as far as sales. My number might as well have been in bold red letters. I am at a piddly lil $26, in avrage transactions. While every other person in the two stores is at a $29-$48 average. Then comes the kicker, right after these numbers he says: This is all in good fun.
Yah, knowing that I am bringing my stores average is all in good fun. Knowing that you are the poorest sales person is not a motivating factor.
Please think of me tomorrow, and pray that I make it through the day.
