It's been a long winter here in Wisconsin. I love the snow, but this is getting ridiculous. But at least it's going to be above freezing next week. Ahh, 40 degrees.

Anyway, I found my DVD of Ally McBeal. Awww, what a cute boy he was. And YSY still gets to me. Has it really been seven years ago? Josh has achieved so much since then. In a way witnessing Josh's career feels like watching your little brother grow up. Everything you knew he could be from the beginning he's achieved now. You don't hear from him nearly as much, and he has his life that you wish wasn't so busy. You're so proud of him, and you hope the success doesn't change that nice kid you got to know. You're just glad you were here to be a part of it all. (And I can't wait to hear what he has in mind for album number five.)...

...after reading this entry, it sounds strange referring to Josh being like a little brother. It wasn't meant to be that way. Because we fans are so familiar with his career and have given our whole-hearted support to him, we feel like we're connected by all that we've invested. (That must be awkward for Josh, especially when someone takes that familiarity a little too seriously.) But we know that we are strangers to him, strangers and acquaintances who like him as a person and who enjoy the music he sings.
