Random Josh memory

I spent the afternoon in NYC again (nowhere near the collapsed crane, thank the gods). I got the spring/summer hat I've been looking for - I'm so pale that I won't go outside without at least SPF30 and a hat - but didn't make much progress on finding a wedding necklace or a veil. I don't even know if I want the latter, but my fiance says lifting it off my face would be like unwrapping a present.
Anyway, I capped off the day in the Whole Foods in the Time Warner building's basement. I don't remember the last time I went to that branch, but one day came to me as clear as anything: the day of the Barnes and Noble signing just blocks away. After I'd gotten my wristband and at least shown my face at the office, I went there for lunch. I got a ready-made meal for lunch and a Red Fire bar to celebrate. I ate in the cafe area, then went to the signing. I'd thought about giving Josh the chocolate, but didn't know that he'd appreciate it. I know the chocolate-cinnamon-chili pepper combination isn't for everyone. In the end, I just wrote a letter while I was waiting.
I hadn't even thought of that when I decided to get dinner there today, but I remembered every detail when I got there. This blog seemed like the best place to mention it.
