So it finally arrived. Yay! It was so much fun to watch and relive that incredible two hours of some great memories. The video was so well done, especially the closeups of all the musicians and personals with Josh. Now I feel the need for another concert--Bad!

The DVD was great, even on my tiny tv that I bought when I moved into my first aparment back in '93(I'm not as old as dirt, but I'm gettin' there.)

Anyway, it's interesting to hear Josh's perspective. I've always enjoyed trying to understand what people are really like, not just what they appear to be. It's obvious that Josh is so spontaneous and will have anyone laughing at all the funny things he says or does. And that same quick mind just drives him on and on to explore and achieve so much in music or anything else he sets out to do.

Sometimes it's hard to see past all that comedy and talent to discover what Josh really thinks of himself and his life. He's surrounded by people who like him and he's having the time of his life doing what he loves. But at the same time, he said touring is a lonely life and Sweeney is his best friend. For all that he has and will be, he feels alone...it's kind of a paradox... No matter how many friends and family a person may have or how happy and successful they are, the truth is that the worst feeling is loneliness and that a person's greatest need is a close relationship that doesn't end.
My heart goes out to Josh when he says he feels alone.... There's so much more I could say.
