I dropped JR off at the groomers this morning. He was done in two hours! He looks and smells great! After taking care of Jr I called dad. He had errands to run and I didn't want him to drive. I basically told him that I would drive him all around and that way we could spend time together too. He bought it. He's 93 and STILL driving!!! I wish he wasn't. I've tried everything I could think of to have his license taken away. I haven't had any success. His attitude is better these days so it's easier to spend time with him. Don't get me wrong I love him and always will. It's just that when he was so very angry it took so much out of me. we took care of his business then he wanted to go to lunch. Yeah right at 5:00 at night. We had a nice meal and talked about mom and their grandchildren. He was even joking around the way he used to. It felt great to spend quality time with him. I haven't seen that side of my dad in years. I had forgotten how hilarious he could be. I certainly didn't inherit that from him or his smarts. That's alright though I have made it through life without either one.

Have a great night all!
Shirley
