I watched last night's concert on PBS. It was wonderful, of course. I cried three times. I can't even remember which songs I cried at now, but it really got to me, emotionally and musically. What his music does to me, he will never know.

One of the sweetest parts was during In Her Eyes and he was walking through the crowds; he stopped and held the hand of a smiling little girl. She looked so excited! Then he lightly touched the side of her head. That was adorable, and she will never, ever forget that moment. That was one of the times I got choked up, I know that.

I noticed that at the end of the concert, he paused and looked out at the crowd while waving, and he seriously looked like he wanted to cry. I think everything hit him at once, and he realized....all of those people were there for HIM! How exhilirating is that.

I will never forget the Albany July 2007 concert. It meant so much to me to be able to attend and have one of the best days of my life. Then, having the opportunity to meet him afterwards. It was definitely one of the best moments of my entire life.
