Work Related Stress Syndrome

I've had the crappiest week at work that I've ever had. I have never been so busy, and to cap it all I have to share an office with a woman who is totally off the wall.

I've been having to get up really early to be at work for around 6.30am and leave around 7pm as I've had so much to do. I share my office with my boss' PA now I usually get on fine with her. Quite often she makes the odd snide comment to me but I just ignore it because I know that she wants my job but hey she's not getting it.

Because I'm so busy I haven't really had a lot of time to chat with her this week - I've been flat out working. On Wednesday night I get home from work and there's a message on my answer phone. It's Debbie leaving a comment that I've been really arsey all week and to get over myself. Okay so I'll admit it upset me a little. All I'd done is work. Okay so I hadn't had time to talk about personal things (anything not work related has had to go on the back burner this week) but surely she could see I'm just busy working. If anyone outside of work spoke to me like that I'd lamp them one, but because of the position I'm in I have to play nice.

On Thursday when she came in to the office I said morning to her and she didn't even answer. So I gave myself a mental shrug and just carried on with my work. Then next thing I know is that she's in my managers office making a complaint about me. So I told my manager when she asked me to come into her office. Hey I'm happy to stay at home, I've got plenty of stuff there I can be doing or I can go and do my job. After all that's what you pay me to do. Just because some people do not understand the concept of hard work doesn't mean that that rule applies to all of us.

Anyway the long and the short of it is that I've now asked if they can find me an office elsewhere, as I seriously cannot play these sort of games with people at work.

Deep breath - Okay it's off my chest now.

So who's ordered the new Groban 08 jersey. I really like it except.... sometimes I wish they'd do some v-necked shirts for us larger chested ladies ahem. Tops that go right up to the neck make us look even bigger. Plus if I've got a cleavage I want to be able to show it.

Anway I am now going to catch up on everyone else's journals.

Take care everyone and be happy.
