...and really cute docs in the ER.

That's how I spent my Valentine's day..late evening. LOL!

We laid around all day watching movies and having a very lazy Saturday.

Reagan wanted to go to Border's..our favorite mom/daughter hangout.

By the time we left that store I felt like a hippo was sitting on my chest. I kept saying, "This will get better, I just need to sit down a minute."

It never got better. Reagan was oblivious with her headphones in drinking her white chocolate mocha. I finally said "Reagan you may be driving here in a few minutes, do you think you can handle that?"

The look she gave me was priceless. It was that 13 year old middle school blank look "Uhhh......".

After I told her I was kidding and I thought we may need to swing by the ER, she said "Oh cool, I'm going with you!!"

We went home first and I tried to do this breathing thing the doc gave me. It was NOT working!

So off to the ER we went. We partied with all the other Saturday night emergencies. We got blankets and hunkered down because I knew it would be an all night slumber party.

My friend Jennifer insisted on coming by and hanging out with me. We sat out there and snickered at this one guy laying over in the floor drunk groaning and acting the fool.

I finally made her go home. She took Reagan home for me. I sat for another hour and a half, then finally I got called back. Didn't even get my own room. I got to sit on a stretcher in the hallway.

It didn't matter to me. I had all night long. Like I said, nice looking docs running around. I'm not sure if they were REALLY that cute. I had sucked in a lot of albuterol and it was 3:30. So...who knows.

Anyway, one of the docs took me back to do a chest xray. He told me to take my bra off for the xray. I was like....Yeah baby!! LOL!!!

After that, another cutie patooty took my vital signs and we had a guessing game over how they would turn out to be. He won.

Then the MAIN doc came over smelling all good and listened to me and talked to me and wrote me some different asthma prescriptions and a steroid too. He was very nice. I about freaked out when he put his hands on either side of my face and moved in to look at my eyes to see if they were discolored. We were like nose to nose. I was like "Heeello!!"
I was thinking "I really like this ER. I don't care how long they make me wait." LOL!!

Anyway, I ran by the 24 hour CVS and got my meds and headed to the house. Reagan had my housekey so I had to knock on the door at 5 a.m. Robert wanders all sleepy headed down the hall to open the door for me.
"You just now getting home? GEEZ!" he mumbles.
I'm like "No babes...I died in the ER and this is my ghost knocking on the front door."

He tried to wake up enough to say "You ok?"
I said "Yes...I'll be fine...go back to bed."
He stumbled back down the hallway.
I went to bed and got about 3 hours of sleep.

End of story...I'm breathing better...and I think I'm gonna live!!
