It's spring!

Let’s see. Was it only last weekend that I took the cover off the outside faucet because “it won’t drop below freezing again”? There is a chance tonight and tomorrow night to freeze. The wind chill right now is in the 20’s. There could be some snow flurries by morning. So I just went outside to bring the potted plants into the garage and re-cover the faucet. Oh well, at least it’s spring.

I had some medical tests done on Tuesday, a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. I didn’t mind either … I slept through the whole thing. :) It was the preparation for the tests that was bothersome. I’m using that word in place of several others I could think of but wouldn’t put down on paper. The endoscopy was to find out why I’ve started having acid reflux. Apparently, I have a “large” hiatus hernia. The screening colonoscopy was to check for polyps, which can be pre-cancerous. The doctor removed 2 polyps. The biopsy showed that one was an adenoma that is pre-cancerous. I also have a pre-cancerous flat polyp that wasn’t removed. I have an appointment with the doctor next month to discuss this. Not sure if it means surgery or not.

Andrea Bocelli is coming to Dallas in June! I’m going to buy a ticket. I missed him the last time he was here but I’m not going to miss him this time.

God bless us, everyone!
