I am so so so so so sorry I haven't been able to keep up to date with everyone around here. I am able to get on every now and then, but not usually long enough to catch up with everyone like I'd like to. I mess around on facebook some, too, but not just a bunch...

I've been really busy trying to get the house back up to speed, working with my girl scout troop, and enjoying little Carson. Tomorrow afternoon, the girl scouts in my troop (with the exception of only 2) and their parents and some siblings are going to a minor league baseball game. It's a scout night at the stadium and with the tickets we get an all-you-can-eat picnic, ballgame, scout parade on the field, and a movie on the big screen after the game. We'll set up tents in the outfield, too, and camp there for the night. I'll let ya know how it works out with my family of 6! LOL We're also working on a "routine" for the girl scout banquet to Miley Cyrus' version of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun...it's going to turn out really cute, I think.

I had an interesting day one day last week. Out of the blue a woman I met at a craft show almost 2 years ago called me and offered me a job at the community college here. At first I pretty much said I wasn't interested and that I had a newborn at home. But the hours were so minimal (less than 20 hours a week) and it was already understood that I put my family over work/job on my list of priorities...it sounded like something I might consider. Then Monday, after a lot of consideration, I called and turned the job offer down. Yeah, I know. Millions of people are looking for work, a job offer lands in my lap, and I'm gonna turn it down?! But the money just wasn't worth the time away from Carson. However, when I turned it down, the woman told me that she understood that money wasn't everything, but that she had to give me all the information. They more than doubled the offer. So, I went in the next day and am now waiting to see if it becomes final. Cassidy will be able to go to preschool--next door to where my office would be--and my best friend's mom agreed to keep Carson for those 2 days a week. I really could make so much more selling Mary Kay or sewing for the public...but for some reason, this job just really seems to be what's right for our family right now. It will be hard leaving Carson those 2 days each week, but I really feel it will be better than leaving them in the evenings or on weekends...I don't know...

So, I can't think of anything else really exciting right now. I'm going to try to be back in here sooner than last time...
