Getting Better...

I thank all of you who commented on my last entry. It was very comforting to know there were people who cared and understood my struggle. It's always nice to know people took the time to think of you. I love you all and am thankful for you.

Today was the first day of softball practice for my 2 oldest girls (and Craig--he's their coach this year). Cassidy had her first practice of the season the other day. I think it's all gonna be okay, but I didn't want them to even play this year. Not because I have anything against my girls playing softball, but because it takes up so much of their (our) Summer. In my head, I had camping and fishing trips planned, cookouts, and day trips to area parks all thought out. I was hoping for a garden, too...however, I'm gonna just have to hold on to that wish for now. We did have fun at the park today, too. It was the perfect weather!

Things have started to slow down a little. Maybe it's not that they're slower, as it's that a lot if it is more enjoyable things now. I finally had my "breakdown" where I just cried and cried one day last week. Boy did that feel lots better--to finally take the time to cry! Who knew that one could be so busy that they had not had time to cry?! Anyway, it kind of resembled the rain that we had last week that washed several days' worth of pollen off of everything--and I can see clearer now. Or at least I'm starting to.

My "ideas" and "creative urges" have come back quite a bit, too. That in itself has restored a bit of my sanity. I'm excited to start on the new things I've drummed up as well as finish others I'd started and had been a bit stuck on. I even had the opportunity to have a night of scrapbooking with one of my close friends last night! I mostly worked on a few pages of my own baby pictures. Strangely enough, it was a bit therapeutic.

Well, I'm off to bed to get rested for the Lord's Day tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it--along with more sunshine and pleasant temperatures, as well.
