Talk About Frustrating!

Boy, have I had my hands full lately! For a while I've been trying to tie up a lot of loose ends before leaving town in December for the holidays and before it got too cold to take the bus. Everything from grocery and Christmas shopping to final doctors' appointments. Then a couple of weeks ago I lost my internet connection and couldn't get on for three days. I spoke to three different people at the provider service and they never did get it working so I decided to change to a service provider that is local. I already pay my cable through them so they know who I am. Then the day after they came and hooked me up I had cable trouble. Basically my basic stations kept scrambling so I had to call them again to come out. As it turned out I actually needed an updated cable box and remote because the one I had was outdated. Talk about a rollercoaster ride! I'm still playing it out to make sure everything works properly.

To make it more frustrating, the old security service from my previous internet provider came up expired so I had to uninstall that and install the new one for my recent change. Considering that i had to do basically all of it myself and that I'm still learning how to work my computer you can imagine how maddening that was! Thankfully I think I got it mostly (if not all) figured out.

BTW, my FOJG membership expires Tuesday. Has anyone heard anything about renewing? I never did receive an e-mail reminder about it. Maybe it was sent when my system was down but I doubt it. I am on Josh's e-mail list so hopefully Warner Bros. hasn't forgotten me.
