One of the main highlights so far this year was on September 4th, when my sister, Amanda, my mom, and I went to see Josh Groban perform for the second time at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg. His concert was just as spectacular just as much as his last concert back in 2007. I brought along my digital camera to take pictures, as well as a couple of videos. I took three videos of Josh performing. One video I got when I made my way from my seat to the aisle to the first stage, where Josh was singing and playing piano. I zoomed in on him a little bit, even though I was a few more feet away from the stage. I managed to take about nine minutes of video, when one of the security guards told me to move. That was when I had to walk back to my seat, since Josh was going to make his way down the aisle to the second stage. I decided to walk back to the edge of the row by the aisle. That was when I caught a glimpse of him walking by. Just at that moment, he looked right at me. I was very overwhelmed, but in complete shock at the same time. Part of me wanted to reach out and give him a hug, but somehow I resisted.

I enjoyed when Josh stopped in between his songs to interact with the audience, especially when he made all of us laugh with his antics. The one part I found interesting was when a guy in the audience got up on stage to sing part of “You Raise Me Up” with him. I could just imagine that guy felt nervous, but excited at that moment.

Another part of the show that I liked was when Josh played the drums during the song “Voce Existe Em Mim”. I thought that was so awesome. I especially enjoyed when Josh brought up an old married couple, a young boy and girl on stage with him. He sang “Broken Vow”, while the couple danced.

That concert went by so fast, that I just couldn’t believe it. I wanted it to go on; but unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. One thing’s for sure though, I will never forget that night as long as I live.
