Good day

on September 18, 2010 - 10:37pm

I can't believe how beautiful it was outside today. The forecast was cool and 30% chance of rain. It was a bit chilly, but no rain. Just blue sky and sunshine. The kids and I went to see the Ice Road Truck Show. The Ice Road trucker was there signing autographs, but David has no patience. Thanks okay. We did have fun.

On our way home, Nehemiah decided he had to pee. Okay... his mother stopped the van and let him pee on the side of the road in the ditch. I heard her say "Miah, I didn't know you were still peeing. He peed all over her shoes and pants. I laughed like a fool. She sat down in the van and I told her that it was okay. I had to make sure he knew it was okay. He said, "mama used to pee on me all of the time. I laughed. He is very funny.

Time for this old bag to go to bed.

at a crossroads

on September 18, 2010 - 6:58pm

i just defended the really zealous josh fans on hilde's journal. there are some real wild ones, to be sure. but wild in a good way (for the overwhelmingly most part). they are having fun, and who can find fault with good, clean, harmless fun?

just want to find a concert as a wedding gift

on September 18, 2010 - 4:16pm

Ihave just finished the process of becoming a "member" paid my money to try to get concert dates. I know I am just one of millions but my story I feel is special. I met my soon to husband on a Carnival cruise ship in Modile Alabama five years ago. Just one cruise before Katrina hit out coast. I drove from my town in the North Ga. Mountains to Mobile every month to see him. I continued not to see him but to try to offer some help to those people that Carnvial housed so sweetly. I rolled wheelchairs of the elderly, listened to peoples stories of sadness. That is really all anyone could do. They so appreciated someone to talk too. I manage a retirement community so I was comfortable but still heart broken. This is when I received my first Josh Groben cd. An elderly resident of mine received it as a gift and didn't want it. Sorry Josh. But it was fate. I listened to that cd ...awake for hours while doing my 8 hour drive every month. My financce is Italian. I mean real italian. Because it was a FEMA ship at that time no alchohol was allowed. I would arrive to the terminal with bottles of Italian wine and playing Josh's cd.

on September 17, 2010 - 9:07pm

Again, Josh tweeted, but I didn't get it on twitter, even though I'm following him. Very frustrating.
