Here is the Manchester Official Road Reporter review from Josh's Straight To You Tour by RockyTop94!

First and foremost, a big thanks to not only Josh but his entire team for making this an experience that my friends and I will not soon forget (that definitely includes you, Sarah)! As this concert series comes to a close, there's not a lot I can say that hasn't already been said, but I'm sure I can think of something! ‘Fantastic’... ‘Inspirational’... ‘A Cracker’ (quote from my Belfast, Ireland friend)... ‘Wicked Piss-Aah’ (it’s a Boston thing)... ‘Sick’... ‘Bloody Awesome’ (from my Australian friend)... ‘Mind Bending’... ‘Incroyable’ (Incredible in French)...just to name a few.

The M&G was extra special because not only was I able to bring a friend with me, but Kay (came from Australia) was also picked for a M&G pass, so our little group of four were all able to meet Josh. He was so genuinely friendly, and so adorable. I showed him my Josh Floss and he asked me if I was in Dentistry. I told him, “No, Ophthalmology”. “Oh, eye floss. That would be fun!” I had him sign a photo that I had taken and enlarged but there was another, very funny picture I couldn’t help but share with him that he said was a really good one and sweetly asked me if I wanted him to sign that one as well (even though we were only allowed one thing to sign). He was just so incredibly nice to do that.

As the show started, I was able to stand at the back stage and take photos but I found it hard when the stage was at its highest, to get a really good picture. I did notice that from where I was, I could actually hear Josh singing a split second before it was echoed throughout the arena for everyone else to hear. I know that sounds weird but I found that really neat.

The show was…well (insert quotes from above) but a few highlights included:

Going down one of GAPs, Josh walked into the crowd and spotted a white-haired lady with a big streak of purple in the front. “Do you know you have purple hair?” She was so cute and asked if he would marry her daughter. The funny part was when Josh asked the daughter to explain her situation. “I’m expecting!” After the show, we talked to her and she said that her husband knew she wanted to marry Josh! Her mother said, “She hated my purple hair…but now I’m sure she loves it,” because it caught Josh’s eye. He did make reference to the issue with Justin Beiber, asking this lady if she had something she needed to tell him because he had been reading TMZ about Beiber.

For the Q&A, I started to video it so I would remember the questions, the first being: Glenda: If you were to spend a month on a space station, what would you want freeze dried for you. He made reference to the possible meteor obliterating our planet (he said it was 200,000 miles away from earth) and that we might soon all be on a space station. But what he would dry freeze was…SWEENEY! Thawing him out, he would say, “Gawd, I have a headache, what the hell just happened to me?” “You’re a little dehydrated, that happened to me after a party once, just drink lots of water.” That got a good laugh from the crowd. He also said he would bring dried Mango, Beef Jerky, Watermelon…basically any food and a Ron Popeil Dehydrated. “Set it and Forget it!”

I had my video going when the second question was asked but unfortuanatley, I threw my camera to Jacqueline who kept filming from her lap. She didn’t know it was on, so it’s all black but I did this because…he called MY NAME! I stood and he was looking to the wrong side of the stage. The idiot in me emerged and I began waving him down like a fool! My question was: Hi Josh, I used to do zoo tours. If I were asked about you, what animal would you be and what interesting fact would I need to tell the group. He said that his mother used to do zoo tours too and one time when she brought him with her, there was a gorilla that flung poo at him! But what was funny was that he picked his nose, brought his hand down towards his bum and then flung his hand out…so was it snot or poo that he meant? It was great though because he looks straight at you the entire time he’s answering the question and my friends told me that I just kept shaking my head up and down, agreeing with everything he said. It was very cute! I didn’t get footage of this but Kay videoed his reaction to my answer and I will post that too.

The third question was Meredith, a 17 years-old winner of Gates City? I’m not certain if that's right but she wanted to sing with him. She sang The Prayer and was FANTASTIC! I did get her on film so I will post that video too for everyone to hear.

Hope everyone enjoys the pictures and videos. Again, a special THANK YOU to Josh, his team and especially you, Sarah, for such a great night!

    Mary Beth :)
