Here is the Vancouver Official Road Reporter review from Josh's Straight To You Tour by chrys5! Want to enter to win for a chance to be Josh's Official Road Reporter? Get all the contest details HERE.

I bought my tickets for my sister and self months ago when they first went on presale for the FOJG members, and was beyond excite! We’d been anxiously awaiting August 30 ever since, and I never dreamed that it could get any more exciting than that! I had entered the Road Reporter contest when it was announced, but I never win anything so I actually forgot that I had entered after a few weeks! When I took my lunch break at work on Monday, I honestly didn’t believe the email at first! I couldn’t believe I had actually won! When I told my co-worker and showed her the email, we jumped around the lunch room like little girls and couldn’t stop laughing and re-reading it! (She wasn’t coming to the show, she’s just a super supportive friend!! ☺)

My sister works with me and I couldn’t wait to get back down to tell her that we were going to meet Josh the next day!! When I told her she actually screamed, and we spent the rest of the day trying (and failing!) to concentrate on work.

On the day of the concert we were still in disbelief that it was actually going to happen, and it wasn’t until I got my envelope of tickets and passes that it actually sunk in!

Meeting Josh backstage was such a surreal experience, he’s such a nice guy, he seems really genuine, and every effort was made to make the M&G the best experience possible in the limited time available. My sister and I were some of the first people in line to meet him, and after a quick chat while he signed our CDs we got our photo! Oh man does he ever smell good!! ☺
Our seats for the show were amazing. I didn’t even bother finding out the details for the press box because I’d read enough reviews where people say close floor seats are the best you’ll get for photos. I was 5th row, dead centre, and I had such a clear view that it spoiled me for life! I’ll never be able to sit at the back of an arena again!

I have to mention how much I loved the set! At first glance it looked cool, but fairly simple. But with each song the colour of the lights and images projected would change, giving it a unique feel that always fit so well! Seeing Josh on stage, singing some of my favourite songs, is something that was so spectacular. I’d been to one of his shows before when he brought his Awake tour to Vancouver in 2007, and this was just as incredible. He is so great on stage, his personality and love for his music always shine through so clearly. I loved his stretch on the drums during Voce Existe Em Mim, he was obviously having SO much fun.

After two hours the show ended, and it felt like much too soon! I have been on Cloud 9 ever since, and I will definitely be first in line for his next show in Vancouver!
