Early Start to the Weekend!
What a early, and wonderful start to my weekend...Went into work last night(10pm) And what do ya know....YES, Thunderstorms...Ohhhhhhh and severe at that. At 1:05am power goes out :) And it stays out...Nothing like sitting in the dark for 3 hours. The 2nd hour the emergency lights go out, boy does that plant get really dark...Party at Avon Hi-Life! You really get to know your co-workers, and it was nice because you had the press room mingling with us finishing department. But, it does get pretty boring sitting there for 3+ hours in the dark, nothing to do...you begin to get a bit sleepy. They sent us all home 2 hours early!
More severe weather for today, and this time I don't have to work. So I know what I'll be doing...WATCHING! You gotta love those big storms.
