Sweet Summer Evening to all.........Have you done anything today to make your heart smile and be so grateful for life? Have you inspired yourself today to learn even more about your own personal fire inside yourself? If not, then take the time to find that one thing that makes your heart so over whelmed with joy and excitement. Take the time to express your own personal creativity.Embrace your own spirit. That may sound corny, but in truth, each day we are here is a blessing, so why waste any day not finding the true passion inside of our selves.

For me, just putting simple words down in my blogs is so enriching and uplifting. I do not even care if any one reads it or not. Something quite therapeutic about letting the thoughts go from my own mind.It makes my thoughts and feelings seem so clear to me. In a world of confusion, it is a gift to have such a clear state of mind.

I came across this lovely picture tonight from another painter I never heard of, but the colors and the serene quality to it really calls to my heart.Its funny, deep inside me I feel as if I belong in the country, but not like yee haw kind of girl, that throws on a cowboy hat and listens to country non stop, but just desiring to be some place closer to the true works of GOD, kind of like in this painting that i saw tonight. (You'd have to see my other blogs to see the picture) But even though I feel as if I belong more out in the country, my desires for art and music stays quite strong in me. Now if there was a place that allows for the two worlds to combine, then I shall call it heaven.

But take the time tonight to think, dream, or just feel all the beautiful life that is around you.

~~~~~~my question for today~~~~~~~~
Please feel free to respond with your own answers..........
What three things captures your heart the most?
For me.......
1. When a friend says hello
2. The sounds of music that allows me to feel
3. Colors of the Earth
Tonight all is well........
Behind the clouds, there is sun
Where there is sadness, joy often follows
Where there is hard work, a reward will come
Where there is pain, healing is discovered
Where there is gratitude, more blessings are brought forward
Where there is patients, lessons are learned
Where there is communication, understanding is certain
Where there is an open heart, surly a place love can be found
Where there is an open mind, new ideas and thoughts are brought to life
Where there are ideas and new thoughts, dreams are born
Where there are dreams, Hope surly flows..........
Where there is Hope, There is faith
Today has been a day that nothing eventful what so ever happened in my life........But yet, it is a day that will mean alot to me, just for the simple fact that it is another day that GOD has given me the gift of love and friendship.Cherish each day that you have those in your life who mean so much.....
5 things I am grateful today for.........
1. My best friend.........the one person who I can really open up to and be myself
2. The people that I know of who have brought a smile to my face through laughter, music, or just friendship.......When some one makes you smile, feel passion, or just open your eyes more, its a true blessing.
3. That summer is almost over and my kids are back in school on Monday!!!!!!!!
4. I have a roof over my head and food to feed my healthy kids
5. Of course....GOD.......... I know he should be at the top, but silly me didn't think till now.....
~~~~~~~~~just for fun~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Question of the day.......I know its corny, but.........

If you won the lottery........ who are the 5 people you would share the money with and help out.......and why?

1. My parents....... they brought me to life, so obviously would take care of them....

2. Kids......Would make sure they got the proper education

3.Barry.......He has given me much more than what any money could possbibly buy.....true friendship

4.JG FOUNDATION....... what can I say, my favriorite charity.

5. Probably some random person who seriously needed help..........

I know, my list isn't that creative, but those would be my top people.......

Take care to all

"The Lady Golfer"

Four lawyers in a law firm lived and died for their Saturday morninground of golf. It was their favorite moment of the week. Then one ofthe lawyers was transferred to an office in another city. It was notquite the same without him.A new woman lawyer joined their law firm. One day she overheard theremaining three talking about their golf round in the break room.Curious, she spoke up, "You know, I used to play on my golf team incollege and I was pretty good. Would you mind if I joined you next week?"The three lawyers looked at each other. They were hesitant. Not one ofthem wanted to say 'yes', but she had them on the spot. Finally oneman said it would be okay, but they would be starting pretty early at6:30 am. He figured the early Tee-Time would discourage herimmediately.The woman said this might be a problem and asked if she could possiblybe up to 15 minutes late.They rolled their eyes but said this would be okay.She smiled and said, "Good, then I'll be there either at 6:30 or 6:45."She showed up right at 6:30 and wound up beating all three of them with an eye-opening two-under par round. She was a fun and pleasantperson the entire round.The guys were impressed! Back in the clubhouse, they congratulated herand happily invited her back the next week.She smiled and said, "Sure, I'll be here at 6:30 or 6:45."The next week she again showed up at 6:30 Saturday morning. Only thistime, she played left-handed. The three lawyers were incredulous as she still managed to beat them with an even par round despite playing with her off-hand.By now the guys were very amazed, but wondered if she was just tryingto make them look bad by beating them left-handed. They could not figure her out. She was again very pleasant and did not seem to be showing them up, but each man began to harbor a burning desire to beat her!In the third week, they all had their game faces on. However, this week she was 15 minutes late! This had the guys irritable because eachwas determined to play the best round of golf of his life to beat her.As they waited for her, they figured her late arrival was some petty gamesmanship on her part. Finally, she showed up. This week the lady lawyer played right-handed, which was a good thing since she narrowlybeat all three of them. However, she was so gracious and socomplimentary of their strong play that it was hard to keep a grudge against her. This woman was a riddle no one could figure out!Back in the clubhouse, she had all three guys shaking their heads at her ability. They had a couple of beers after their round which helped the conversation loosen up. Finally, one of the men could contain his curiosity no longer. He asked her directly, "How do you decide if you are going to golf right-handed or left-handed?"The lady blushed and grinned. She said, "That is easy. When my dad taught me to play golf, I learned I was ambidextrous. I have alwayshad fun switching back and forth. Then when I met my husband in college and got married, I discovered he always sleeps in the nude.From then on, I developed a silly habit. Right before I left in themorning for golf practice, I would pull the covers off him. If his"you-know-what" was pointing to the right, I golfed right-handed andif it was pointed to the left, I golfed left-handed.Astonished at this bizarre information, one of the guys shot back,"But what if it's pointed straight up in the air?"She said, "Then I am fifteen minutes late."

Greetings to all my dear friends, those I have met and those I still have yet to.......

Sorry I have not written in a few days, but I must admit I have not been feeling like myself the past few days. My best friend went away with his son to a church outing, a retreat I guess you could say and well, we haven't spoken in days. I feel so lost when we don't talk as he normally is always there.....I have been feeling so alone with out the normal everyday conversations we use to have. Its driving me bonkers! I miss him dearly, but I suppose this trip was good for him and his son. Gotta give him a lot of credit for doing things with his son. I can appreciate any man who is willing to do things with his kid....

I did manage to take my own kids somewhere this past weekend. Friday took all of them to the beach down in Monetery. Packed up a bunch of snacks and headed to the beautiful coastline. It was a really lovely trip as the kids did seem to have a great time chasing the waves. We all got a little wet, but that was OK. Was fun none the less. Although, my car still smells like wet sand...yuck. The air was brisk and the sun was hidden by an array of over casted clouds, but that didn't bother me in the slightest. The sound of the ocean waves hitting the shore is always an uplifting experience. I could spend my life down by the ocean and never get tired of its beauty or the peace it always brings out in me. We stayed a couple of hours then headed back to home. Could have stayed longer I suppose, but did have to get up really early the next day for work. I really hate when life interrupts my play time. I really wish I could do more adventures like that with my kids, but money is tight, gas is tight, the same ole routine. I don't expect that part of my life will change any time soon. I doubt I will win the lottery and doubt my night and shining armor will come rescue me from this dark spot in my life.....this is reality. A girl can dream though.......

Other than feeling so depressed over my sweetie being MIA for awhile, not much else worth writing about. Like my life ever really is.....But I will say this, working in retail some times gives me plenty of topics to write and today was no exception. Today I encountered the customer from hell....well, my supervisor was dealing with it, I was just a witness. Just when you think you've seen it all, there's one who will always act worse than the last one. Today, a woman came in wanting to return her bras to the store. The problem is, since they had no tags on them, they couldn't be returned. Not only a store policy, but a law as well. Apparently that did not sit to well with her. I guess she figured the law didn't apply to her. My supervisor was trying to explain this to her, but every other word from her mouth was F**K this..... was really quite amusing if you ask me. She used it so much that I am surprised Webster hasn't added it to their dictionary yet. I guess all the vocabulary tests in school were for nothing..... She also had a few other items to be returned so my supervisor went to look for similar items since the clothes she was trying to return didn't have tags either....but we were willing to at least give her a refund for those. I tried to ask her if she was being helped when she told me that she was waiting for this F***ing lady to return. I politely said OK. I went to find my supervisor to give her a hand when this lady chases me down and as I was asking my supervisor if she needed help, she yells, I know your tattling on me...and continues her colorful words. All this because of not getting EXACTLY what she wanted. I mean really, stores have their policies and if you don't know them, then its YOUR fault. Of course, when you are working with the public in any customer service field, one must refrain from speaking what is really on their minds..(Man, if only I could)...... I just kind of laughed to myself because she wanted to make a big deal out of nothing. This world has so many problems in it that fighting over stupid details about not getting a few dollers just seems so pointless. Anyway, by the end of that situation, I was ready to end my work day.....thankfully I was able to.

But I still sit here today wanting to talk to my sweetie and I can't. I hate being so far, I hate the time difference, I hate the pain of missing someone so badly, I hate the feeling of being alone, I hate waiting to see if life will turn around for me any time soon........ugh!

But, I will keep my faith today that the clouds will clear and the sun light will once again shine down on me soon. I hope and pray that you all have that peace and light in your life and hope it fills your heart up with warmth and kindness.
