TUESDAY yay

on November 17, 2009 - 5:17am

That didn't very enthusiastic did it? Didn't think so. Well okay fine, IT'S TUESDAY! Wooohooo! I don't work tomorrow yay baby! No I have to take my son, his wife, and my granddaughter to Children's Memorial Hospital tomorrow so she can be assessed for Autism. Not exactly my idea of a "fun" day but any day that doesn't involve Josh isn't a fun day anyway. Wish my laptop was working ... I'd write! Maybe I can bring a notebook and do it the old fashioned way.

So I have another migraine, that's cause for celebration. I'm sad because Linda is locked out - wish I could do something for you sweetie ... I haven't even been on the thread in like 4 days but I'm trying to get the calendar finished and ready for print! I still don't like the December page and will probably redo it - yet again - that will make like 4 I've done and don't like. Well I want it to be perfect ya know.

I hope you have a better day than I will - see I can tell already it's not going to be pretty! ::muah::

I NEED Diet Pepsi!

on November 15, 2009 - 1:27pm

And I'm out! I can tell that my blood is losing fizz ... HELP ... ME! So I dump the coins out of my kitty bank (it's not a piggy - it's a KITTY) and put on my shoes so I can get some ... oh my car is gone ... nice of my son to tell me when he was leaving so that I didn't go to use the damned thing and it not be there. So I'm stuck home eating a pb&j and crackers without anything to drink. My bottled water was in the van! LOL So enough whining ...

Good Lord it's Saturday

on November 14, 2009 - 5:16pm

Okay so my granddaughter (well one of the two) will be 3 at the end of this month. she's a little dickens. My daughter who works nights so that she can be with the little devil during the day has me watch her in the evenings so she can work. It's best this way because I can give Emma a bath and snuggle with her before bed then I just move her to her room. Well the little devil has been showing her evil side more and more lately ... my husband just cleaned the carpets downstairs in the living room ... Emma found my stencil paint (it wasn't even opened yet, still had the plastic over the top) and pulled off the cap before dumping the whole bottle on the cream carpet then painting on the walls with it before she painted her legs. ::insert scream here:: Off to the bath for her. This morning as I was watching her (well really I was cleaning the kitchen) she dumped out two bottles of nail polish on the carpet. She's done the nail polish thing before too - she poured it all over baby boy's carpet in his room too. Nothing a ten year-old boy wants in his room is the scent of nail polish! Well, what to do with Emma? I just love her to death but she's really taxing me!

Friday and it should be more like

on June 26, 2009 - 12:29pm

FRYday being as it's over 90 degrees Fahrenheit here today! It's been scorching all week and they said it was going to be cooler today but it isn't. I wanted to tell you that Duncan had a wonderful time on his birthday. I told him I would take him out to dinner just me and him - so Caryn and Mike dropped him off at my work around 2:15PM ... I changed my clothes and then we were off. We drove to Woodridge ... the plan was that Caryn, Mike, and Paul were going to meet us at the IMAX theatre and see Transformers 2 as a surprise for Duncan's birthday. He was ABSOLUTELY surprised! We were at the theatre waiting around, he asked what we were waiting for and I told him an old friend - just then Paul came out the door and Duncan smiled - then grinned as Paul was followed by Caryn and Mike. What a special day it was for him! After we watched the movie I asked him if he wanted to go out to eat or go get a cake and go home. He wasn't all that hungry so he chose the cake and home but as we passed by a flower and plant store he asked if we could stop in; I told him another time because it was after 7 and I wanted to get home well ... I surprised him by pulling into the parking lot and taking him in. It was like an arboretum in there ... so many beautiful trees and lovely shrubs ... we found the Venus Fly traps and Duncan was so very excited when he saw they sold the Sundew plant, he's wanted one for a while now. I told him he could have his choice and he choose a plant called the Pitcher Plant ... it is a carnivorous plant. After that we stopped and got him a chocolate cake then went home. He seemed very pleased by all the events of the day - he went to sleep with a smile on his handsome little face. I love my baby boy.
