Donate a Mammo- Easy to do

on September 23, 2007 - 10:07am

I hope you will take a moment to go to this sight and click on donate a mammo!

A favor to ask, it only takes a minute....

Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on 'donating a mammogram' for free (Pink window in the middle).

This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

Thank you in advance for your help Grobies!!!!!!!!!

Sharing talents

on September 22, 2007 - 9:36am

I made a decision yesterday to do something special for Josh. It may sound crazy to most but I owe him a lot. He shares himself with so many so I tried to think what I could do to show my appreciation. I don't know why I didn't think of it before this (DUH!!!) I crochet so I'm going to share my talent with him and make him a blanket in his favorite colors. It's going to take a while but that's alright. It will be so worth it give something to him in return. I went out picked up the yarn and got started on it. I hope he will like it. Well, I better go so I can work on his blanket. For all of you out there have a Grobie weekend!!

Thank God For Josh/ Special day at the beach

on September 21, 2007 - 11:19am

I'm thanking GOD everyday for having Josh in my life. He has been and is my stability and attitude booster. I've been going through so much with my health lately and He's the only thing that keeps the sun shining for me these days. I'm trying very hard to stay positive because a positive attitude makes a huge difference in recovery from illnesses.I've beeen told it might take a month to recover but better late than never.I'm now struggling with two new different infections that have knocked me down just a little bit further physically but having Joshs music in my life is helping through my days. THANK YOU JOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (4 hours later)
I just came back from seeing my Aunt. It was a good mood booster. We went to the beach and enjoyed the bluest sky, sail boats on Puget Sound, and a baby seal on the beach waiting for mom to show up for food in the 70 degree whether. Life hasn't been this good in awhile. I am feeling better than I did a few days ago. My plan is to continue feeling better even though sometimes it's difficult convincing myself I will recover.
I wish all Gobanites a GREAT weekend!!

New daily Routine

on September 19, 2007 - 3:12pm

I had an emergency hospital stay so I've been gone since the 11th. I'm trying to get caught up on what's going on. My new routine is to do anything I want as long as it doesn't entail picking anything up over three pounds. Well, that says it all.I can't do much but I'm crocheting a blanket to help keep me busy and listening to Josh Groban to keep me feeling somewhat content. I am enjoying the beautiful 66 degree, sunny day cause we have to take it as it comes around here. This morning it was raining cats and dogs. We have a little saying if you don't like the wheather wait 20 minutes and it will probably change. It's that time of year. I am happy to be back online. have a great day everyone!!

Glad to be home/ Memories of 9/11

on September 11, 2007 - 2:48pm

It's so nice to be home again. I made it through my surgery with some thanks to Josh. I was able to take my mp3 player with me so I could listen to Josh sing his heart out!! It made it so much easier to deal with. Now I'm home listening to his dvd Live at the Greek. I hope to be back on my feet by the end of the week. I can't wait!! Everything is going to pot around the house since I've been laid up so I'll have plenty to catch up on when the time comes. Thanks to Nessa7and FlippedOverJosh02 for your kind words. We must not forget 9/11 all those that sacrificed their lives. They will not be forgotton. Our prayers are with all the families who lost someone and to all that survived such a horrific experience. GOD BLESS ALL. I found this website dedicated to 9/11. Check it out
