At first, I want to thank Josh from the bottom of my heart that he finally came to Finland. Last night was unforgettable! And I can truly say there´s hundreds of people who can say the same. Totally unforgettable!

I´ve been fan of Josh´s since I saw him performing in Ally McBeal. His voice and his appearance were so sensational, I was addicted at once. He followed me as my life went on, in sickness and in health. I think I can´t even find the words to describe how much his music had ment to me. So I really was the happiest girl in the planet (as naive as it migth sound) when I found out he´s coming to Finland. Finally!

But that´s not all...I couldn´t believe my eyes when I red my emails on tuesday. OMG! Someone pinch me...or not. If this is a dream I don´t want to wake up. I had been selected as Helsinki road reporter and the most amazing part of this all, they cave me a chance to meet Josh. I died and went to heaven! My romantic concert/weekendtrip with my husband got a whole new dimension. Exciting I guess!

After having a nice day in Helsinki we went to Finlandia Hall. I was surprised how calm I was, even then they led us to a small room and told Josh´s coming in few minutes. And suddenly there he stood in front of us in his sneakers with his curly hair looking so adorable. And what a smile. So warm and so genuine. We all got our brief moments with Josh, got autographs and photos and then it was time to say goodbye. Even though it was a brief moment we spend with him he felt like so familiar. Like when you meet someome and you instantly know you get along with so well, that´s what happened there. Me and my husband both felt like we could take Josh to home and have a class of wine and just hang around. He was so simple, so pure, such a nice nice guy. So Josh, if you ever come to our neighbourhood please stop by. You can sleep on a couch;o)

The show itself was huge! Josh´s voice had never sounded so good, so smooth and so powerfull. And his whole band, his fellow musicians, they were incredible together. We were impressed how cosy and how entertaining Josh was on the stage. Not only his voice, but his humour, his ability to make everything so smooth and his ability to let his fellow musicians have their moments on stage. They all really had fun up there. And Josh really knows how to work the room, oh jes! The audience got wild, they kept cheering and clapping. And he was worth it and much more.

My personal highlights were songs "To Where You Are" and "Galileo", my favourites. Pilar´s favourite, Awake, we all found out when she was the lucky one to go on to the stage with Josh. And how clever she was! Her guestion about Sweeney had been picked up and during the guestion Josh had a big smile. There was a tiny p.s. in Pilar´s guestion, Can I sing with you? Hmm, come on up here Pilar. A huge moment for Pilar, way to go girl! Josh managed to surprise us again with his drum solo. We were speechless!

Josh ended his first encore by singing "You Raise Me Up". He had no gospel choir, so we gave him a little help and sang along. What a great moment! The grand finale of the concert was "Smile" and indeed it was worthy ending. I left the hall with a big smile! Josh promised that there won´t be another ten years to wait to see him again in Helsinki.

Thank You all, I wish You all the best!

    Love, Minna

p.s. I have a picture of our children at my office desk and my husband allways teases me, why I don´t have a picture of him. Now I will, Josh standing beside;o)
