Whew, anyone else still in AWE over the first concert of the tour? I could barely focus on school today with all the memories from his show looming in my head.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that Josh's performance was BEYOND spectacular. From the lights, to his incredibly amazing voice, and to that spunky violinist, I don't think anything could have made the show better than it was!!!

The night started off with the talented pianist Elew. Don't know much about him, but from his performance which ranged from Michael Jackson, to Nirvanna..this guy has some bright things in his future! Steven M wasn't too bad either!

Josh surprised everyone by entering the arena through a side tunnel, and not on the stage that we (well...I) were focused on. The horns started with Straight to You (ironic huh :P), and Josh performed Changing Colors, and February Song before heading back through the crowd to the main stage. One thing that you don't see much of with other acts is the interaction with the crowd that Josh has. Even though there are thousands of people there, he makes you feel like it's a smaller, more personal thing...makes it worth your time and travel. and BTW, thumbs up to those who flew and drove from out of state for the first show!!! I'm sure it was well worth the trip!! Even with that 20 hour airport "visit".

An hour into the show, I just kept pinching myself. I couldn't believe that I was FINALLY listening to him in concert, and pretty darn sad that we only had an hour left...the first one went by way to quickly.

Oh, and Josh...your Portugese was great, just FYI!

The night was just breathtaking!! Not everything could be put into words....well, at least not into words that would do his performance justice! If you were lucky enough to get tickets to any show he puts on this tour, you are in for a treat!!
