Tonight I Attended My First Josh Groban Concert

From the concert:
Orlando, FL - 10/29/2011

I had the best time! Starting off at Embers for the FOJG meet and greet. I met some of the Grobies I talk to on Twitter plus a few more.

When we got back to the Arena and were waiting to be let in to our seats, some of the Amway Staff escorted a few ladies to the rest room... one being my sister. Soon another staff person came to tell us that we would be entering at a different door further down. I asked to be escorted to the restroom because my sis was in there and I did not want to lose her. As we walked back, I could see the stage and it looked like Josh standing in front of it talking to someone. Our eyes met just as one of the staff snatched the curtain closed so I could not be sure, but maybe it was?

I lost the charge on my phone and my camera before the concert was at the halfway point but that was my only disappointment of the night. Josh was incredible! He started the show with Changing Colors and the very first note put goose bumps all over me! With February Song tears welled up in my eyes, but I was smiling! lol I did make one call to a fellow Grobie to let her listen to Higher Window and appologize to the people around me *blushes a deep red*. I clearly was not in my right mind. I was Joshbrained!

After the show, I patiently waited in the crowd by the buses and managed to get my short stubby arm out there and Josh signed my golden ticket! I said thank you, but don't think he heard. It was clear to see Josh was exhausted. I hope that he is resting peacefully as I type.

I made my way back to where my sister was waiting for me... I must have been bouncing off the pavement because she and Chantall (hope I spelled that right) started laughing when I showed them my ticket. I have said this was my once in a lifetime, but I hope I will be able to attend more Josh Groban concerts in the future... if Josh makes his way back to theme park central again. But if not, it's ok. Tonight is a night I will never forget. Thank you Josh and all the Groband for an night well worth waiting for.

I used to be in an Orlando Grobanite group, but lost touch...how do I reconnect with you guys?? Last night was incredible!!!!

Last night was also my first JG concert. My husband and I were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary. We laughed, we cried, and we enjoyed one of our very best gifts to each other! Hopefully, next time we will get closer seats to the stage. You helped us make a beautiful memory! :) Please come to Orlando again, Josh!
