Josh is a real person

on October 11, 2010 - 5:28pm

Recently I had the experience of writing about the lyrics to a new song (written by Stevie Wonder) that Josh is singing on his new album. I don't like the religious lyrics and I was wondering why Josh would include a song that was so obviously Christian on an album for a general audience. Of course many people do like the lyrics-especially if they themselves are religious Christians. Josh himself can sing anything he wants! It's his album, his music, his career! He has every right to sing religious music and that is what I stated in my post. I just don't appreciate it since I am not a Christian. Well-you would have thought I was hatching a plot to deliver Josh Groban to the devil! It was an amazing experience-surreal.

Heartwrenched

on October 11, 2010 - 9:31am

We're there.
I didn't realize we were there until I got an email this morning.
But, we're there and I knew it was coming. While I accept it, it's going to take a bit of time for me to process. I'm going to allow myself the indulgence of being sad just for a little while (and sad is not something I let in very often).

End of my Twine

on October 10, 2010 - 12:49pm

We have all heard about being at the "end of your rope''. Well, my rope is down to raveling twine. Living with a boy who is extremely challenging is difficult. I usually keep my temper down and remain calm. However, today I failed and I am not proud of myself.

Pumpkin Patch Day

on October 9, 2010 - 9:31pm

Today was the big Pumpkin Patch/Corn Maze day. My friend and I took our sons and one of their friends to one of the corn mazes in our area. What irritated us was the fact that it cost $6.00 per person, whether you went in the maze or not and my friend and I didn't go in the maze. Then the kids wanted to ride in the wagon pulled by horses. That was another dollar a piece. When the kids came back, they were proudly carrying a pumpkin. They were $3.00 each. We finally said no because #1: They should never have been told they could get a pumpkin unless they were free or an adult was with who would pay for them. That was the trick. We did not buy it. I explained that to David later. Then they had food and soda. I spent five dollars on beverages.
