Straight To You WOW!!! I was mesmerized by my first live concert with Josh. All the musicians were awesome. The "best" performing with the best. Followed Josh & group to Dallas and then in October to Tampa. At the New Orleans concert I sent a gift to Josh by way of a very nice security guard. My first Josh concert! ;-) It was a perfect day in New Orleans for Josh's first night concert. The sun was shining and it was in the high 70's all day and that evening after, in the 60's. I got to UNO about an 5:30pm and went to the box office to recieve my "Front Row VIP" ticket and wrist band. Walked around the corner and right inside to the VIP private party. Michele M. The concert was absolutely awesome. The time seemed to go by too fast. Josh's audience interaction was outstanding. The venue was perfect for this event. I would go see him again in a minute if he was coming anywhere near my home. I had to drive 6.5 hours to this concert and it was worth everything. My husband even loved the concert. Unforgetable! Josh-I have followed your career since your early days with Charlotte Church and have enjoyed every note. I lived most of my adult life in NYC-your new hometown. Tears Of Joy I can't thank my mom enough for buying me the tickets to see your show. It was the most amazing concert I've ever been to, and I only wish I could've been the one on stage. If only I had yelled out that I was a singer, I could've done "The Prayer" with you! You have the most beautiful and angelic voice, and you CDs do not do you justice. You sound much better live than on the album, and you can't say that about many performers today. You came out 3 chairs away from me, and I almost fainted...... |

My NOLA adventure I added this to the boards but thought I'd bring it over here, too :) I had an interesting trip so thought I'd share it with everyone... Firstly - I want to thank ALL my Grobie friends that made this trip well worth it!! You guys are incredible and I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of this family! Once in a Lifetime I guess the one I should really thank is the dear lady whose question was about collaboration: you made it possible for me to join him on stage. Thank you! Birthday and Anniversary Present This was my first Josh Groban concert. I had second row tickets and the view was awesome. This was my birthday and third anniversary present to myself. I am a three year breast cancer survivor and this was the ultimate gift to myself . I said that after I finished treatments I would take a trip, well this was my trip and I am so glad I took it. Amazing and Beautiful! WHAT AN AMAZING SHOW! We finally made it back to Florida early this morning after a week on the coast and in NOLA for the best show ever! The entire trip back we talked about and relived every moment of this fantastic night! From the opening act to the final "good-night" it was one SURPRISE after another! JOSH WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE! Wonderful Experience My husband and I had a wonderful night at the concert. Being selected for the meet and greet was beyond amazing. We may get our first HOG thread :) It took me a little while to pull my thoughts together after the concert. This was my first Josh concert. Hubs and I wanted to take advantage of 1) no kids 2) great tickets to see great performer, 3)in one of our favorite cities, 4) with no kids...did I mention no kids? The Story of the Best Night of My Life On Thursday night, I attended Josh Groban’s Straight to You concert here in New Orleans (it was also opening night). Lessons learned.... Lesson learned from Josh concerts past that were helpful...... I have no great Josh pictures or videos to share.....grateful to the people who do such a fabulous job however! From my perspective.....I was in the center section Row 12 2 seats from the aisle. PURE AWESOME-NESS Words cannot explain how awesome my first JG concert was!! I thought we had great seats, FLR C row 15, seats 10-11. They weren't front row, but still great. When Josh's band first came on, I (along with the rest of the arena) was watching intently to see where and when Josh was going to appear. A Birthday Among Friends I have been a fan of Josh's from the beginning. However, because of a series of unfortunate events, this is the first concert I've been able to go to. Per Te There are no words to adequately express my feelings about this concert. The last time I saw Josh in concert was also in New Orleans, in 2003. My mother won tickets from a radio show, and gave them to me for Christmas. It remains the best Christmas present I've ever received. I have had an amazing time here, experiencing New Orleans, swamp tours, Mardi Gras, great food, awesome people, But Josh Groban's concert just made my whole stay here. It was the icing on the cake. ...singing your worries away! ...I must confess, I bought teh tickets for my mother in law who's birthday was on May 11 (day before opening night) and who's also a huge fan of Josh Groban. THE GREATEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE The concert was amazing! my mom took me to see Josh in 2005 and it was my turn to return the favor. We sat 7th row center and about 12 of us devout Grobanites actually made what he called a "mosh pit" as we rocked out to Machine. After the show I did get to meet him and i explained that i had been a diehard fan for 9 years and i've always dreamed of meeting him. he was nice enough to sign my ticket and give me a hug ....but it was the best night of my life...i felt so surreal...i broke down... |

Eleven hour road trip for me and one of my sisters to this venue from Florida. No sweat though, the Gulf Coast is where we grew up. We'll pick up baby sister in MS and then on our way to you, Josh! The not so obvious.next: About the VIP packages, in order to get front row seats, does it have to purchase the 'Front Row Package"? I just don't wanna 'flub up' on where/how to get the tickets when 10 am comes around.Dont neccesarilly need the package, just want the front row if at all possible! {I DO believe in Miracles!}

Would sure like to see the codes show up......btw Rose Garden does not use Ticketmaster, you will enter your code at the Rose Garden website. So for those of you who have done this before, do you hit refresh on your browser at 10 am, or just put the code in right at 10 am. Every SINGLE time I put the code in it always says "tickets not on sale yet"....then I refresh browser, THEN it lets me in. But by then I have wasted 10-20 seconds. Anyone have any tips Rose Garden website is pretty bad

The last time Josh appeared in New Orleans was 2004. He was just beginning to gain popularity. I am so glad I went to see him back then. It is the very reason I still love him and love to hear that amazing voice today. He really made a great impression on me even back then. So glad he's finally coming back. Just wish the pre-sale dates could get posted!!!

I am so there. I've been a fan since 2002 and fell in love with his voice. I saw him in Nola back in 2005 and dragged my husband to the show. Even he was impressed! So this will be my second show. Don't think my husband will be coming this time, and don't know any big fans, so may be attending alone. I don't care, though. Looking forward to meeting other fans at the show!
